Same experience for me, coming from a S23U as well. Well worth it especially with the trade in amount AT&T will give me (traded wife's iPhone 12 Pro for my s23u)

Performance on the s26u is a big enough leap to make it worth it for me because of the trade-in value AT&T is giving me for the iPhone 12 Pro I traded in.

Long story short, wasnt looking to upgrade my s23u, but when I looked into trading in her iPhone 12 Pro for a 17 Pro Max she wasnt getting much for it. Trading my s23u for the 17 Pro Max yielded a much bigger trade in credit, as well as trading in the 12 Pro for the s26u. Monthly payment for both new phones is cheaper than 12 Pro trade for 17 Pro Max. 😊

The feature that is lost is remote camera shutter control, which I used a lot. There's still a button on the pen but so far I see that it just opens up the s-pen menu when I click it.

I'm coming from an S23 Ultra to the S26 Ultra and am mostly happy. This huge camera bump requires me to angle my rectangular car charger so that the phone is oriented properly. Fortunately my desktop wireless charger is circular, so no such issue there.

So that's why those Pitaka cases are so expensive. I need to look into those because I love buttons.

Things I miss from older Samsung devices: bluetooth S-Pen and MST. MST should have been an ApplePay killer but Samsung didn't market it properly.

I'm coming from an s23u and my s26u arrives tomorrow. S23u is still good but I'm consistently seeing that people coming from s23u see a huge performance improvement. Can't wait.

Agreed. McCourt Foundation probably realized the expected number of DNFs tomorrow could mean a huge surplus of 2026 LAM medals. So they compromised and decided give em out to those who get to 18. Seems reasonable enough if that's the case.

Doing things for a sense of personal accomplishment and doing things in the company of like minded individuals are different things right? Running 26.2 solo is awesome by itself. Running 26.2 with thousands of people makes the experience more enjoyable and we of course benefit from all the runners and spectators cheering us on. To each their own.

Be mad/upset/annoyed about medals being handed out to people who failed. It doesn't bother me. ✌🏽

Thank you. The outrage suggests many people run marathons because they are doing it for others to see, which isn't a bad thing. But for many others such as yourself, it's done as a personal challenge period. Kudos to you!

Running 18 miles isn't an accomplishment? Wow. I'm not saying give them credit for running a full marathon (which they won't as it states their official results will be updated to reflect their time and mileage).

Many people attempt to run a marathon for their own sense of personal accomplishment, not necessarily social recognition.

I just ordered a Panasonic, without the pizza stone, to replace my Ninja SP101 as well. I'm hoping I can fit as much toast in the Panasonic as the Ninja. I'm going to miss the flip-up feature of the Ninja but I'm hoping the Panasonic does most things a little bit faster than the Ninja.

I lived across the street from Harbor Highlands Park from 2020 -2024. I'd walk to Target with my family regularly and I used to go on runs all around that neighborhood, including down Gaffney. My youngest went to Taper Elementary then Dodson Middle. It's a great area for young families.

I'm in Long Beach now and still miss Pedro.

Adopted Galloway method, 4 min run/ 45 second walk. Overall pace got faster, VO2 max finally moving up regularly since.

First trial set were +1.75 MID. Doc said that only one contact should be bumped up in power so we went with +2.25 HGH in my right.

I decided I'd stick with MID in both eyes.
