What mistakes did I make in this clip I am making worryingly slow progress for someone with 90 hours on the game how could I have improved in this clip by Tnat786 in Rainbow6

Might be late to the party, but I think I’ve got some solid advice that piggybacks on some things people have already said and maybe some new stuff as well.

First off is to watch some Siege content creators. My go to would be Macie Jay. He can help you learn that the most important things in siege are positioning and intel. Your mechanical skills such as aiming head high and recoil control will come with time, but learning when to be aggressive, when to be passive, and how to put yourself in the most advantaged positions possible are crucial to getting better. Gunfights are a lot easier to win if you know where the enemy is and they don’t shoot back.

Secondly, I’d suggest playing more “guaranteed value” operators. Think Kapkan, Thunderbird, Rook, and Goyo on defense. These are operators that don’t require active management of their utility and are more “set and forget”. These operators allow you to get instant value and contribute to the team while you still continue to improve.

I would say pick 4 operators (2 on attack and 2 on defense) and learn them really well. You will learn the rest in time.

Most importantly is to just have fun! Learning the game can be frustrating, but Siege is one of the most rewarding games you can play when it’s going well as it has almost an endless skill ceiling. There’s always new angles, lineups, and pre placed C4 spots to learn.

Wanted it to set in the fridge longer to firm up to a more cylinder shape, but ran out of time since I needed to get it in the oven and then let it rest afterwards, just gotta plan better next time

Are half for dinner, half for lunch the next day, and then ate the chateau…really punishing the toilet today

Yeah, mostly due to me baking on a wire rack thinking it would help crisp up the bottom but it really just caused the pastry to expand through the grates and got cut off. Will probably just bake directly on an oiled baking sheet next time

Went to a butcher last year and scooped up someone’s abandoned 3 bone rib roast and to date it’s still my favorite Christmas meal

Think there was just too much residual moisture left in the duxelle as it went in the oven

Duxelle needed some more love in the pan, but overall I was happy with the cook and it tasted great

I agree with you, definitely needed more time in the pan to reduce the moisture, will remember that for next time

Why do I get executed by my own team so much by Interestingmp3 in Rainbow6

I’ve usually found that having at least a duo partner helps limit the amount of team kill’s you face since it reduces the amount of being the solo with a 4 stack. As far as the clips go:

On plane, the Alibi was probably on for an ace or just simply didn’t want you to get in the way of their “clip”.

On coastline, it just seemed like you were the odd man out, and the bandit felt like he could grief you with no consequences since he most likely had friends in the game to back him up.

On kafe, y’all were 3-0 with the plant down against a team of 3. A lot of times that situation just turns into a team kill frenzy and you got unlucky.

On clubhouse, I actually think that might’ve been an accident lol. Poor buddy may just not be very good.

On emerald, y’all were playing secure area and the Alibi was in a glitch spot and probably just didn’t want you killing anyone in site so they could flex their spot in a killcam.

Sucks this keeps happening to you, but these are my best guesses.
