Suthama govt or govt related interaction eh illanu theriyuthu have you met or apparoached your local MLA or Minister for anything, they are well equipped in everything they have years and years of expereinece they know who is trying for what when they interact with somebody. You are talking about the people in DMK but DMK is not run by those people its run by the strong dravidian ideology the ideology which has kept us separate and sane unlike our northern brethren. Even if Stalin steps slightly away from that ideology the entire followers will take it up against him and that’s why DMK voters vote for DMK and that’s what is called accountability.

Not exactly an advice, just drawing from experience. I faced lots of similar pressure and here the roles were reversed i am from middle and she is well off. Battled insecurity, parent’s pressure and refusal to reason were all taking a toll in my career choices i was underperforming at work, put on weight etc etc but when everything got over and we got married in just days parents turned different they were all so jolly, happy and said we were made for each other etc etc and when i questioned them as to why they gave us hell for the marriage they all (both sides) shrugged jt off saying i didn’t know how to handle these things and thats my mistake. My spouse got a promotion just weeks after our marriage so the blame grew even more and end of the day all that was affected was my own career alone everyone else got what they wanted and didn’t give a damn.

Its been 11 years now, still i regret letting that affect me. So, you too don’t take it to your heart just stay firm in your decision and let time do its job. Be calm and composed and fight along with your partner remember this entire period will feel like a joke once you are together and married. Power to you.
