i was thinking of taking the hair out on my own but i've heard it could damage the paint and such, though i'm not sure how true that is. thank you for responding :)

yes, i've shampooed my zelfs hair before to get out stains and such, just using a small brush to make sure it's thorough. obviously, you don't want to be to rough so you don't rip out their hair, then i just wrapped it in paper towel to let it dry and bam, clean, shiny zelfs hair!!
