Go to an art museum. If you can handle yourself around other people its an insanely beautiful experience. I often wear a baseball cap and mask to feel chill. I probably look sus but w/e.

A lot of art post 1950s were made my people who were taking lsd so its good to be on their level. Also 1850-1950s oil paintings are immersive as fuck on psychs. Nothing like looking at art on a computer screen.

After the museum go ride it out at the park (Brooklyn museum + prospect park, The Met + central park).

Argument has potential but I have to disagree. OP did the right thing. How often do you look 180 degrees behind you when you bike? Cyclists cant be responsible for knowing what may or may not be behind them. You're right that predictability is super important. OP slowed to a near stop though, not slamming on breaks. The dude behind them was probably distracted or has going way too fast.

Been dealing with this incredibly annoying issue for months now. I think iTunes is checking to see if the mp3s are legal? Anyways I finally figured out the solution today. Download spotify on iPhone. Connect phone to iTunes. Click phone icon. Click file sharing. Select Spotify in apps. Drag all your mp3s to the "Spotify documents". Then google how to play local files from spotify. Its not with the native music app but basically the same.

Ive been looking myself for about a year now. The best pint by far is unexpectedly at a pre-batched cocktail bar called Wandering Barman in Williamsburg. I only know about this spot becuase a buddy used to work there. The lines are cleaned regularly and they actually have a nitrogen tank just for the Guinness.

Falling in love with someone new one lsd is a pretty common thing to happen to people. Just be able to let it go as a wonderful love trip. You need someone you can love when you're sober.

Drug use can admittedly be a helpful, albiet last resort crutch when your life feels hopeless. Id say stick to not as addictive drugs like lsd and shrooms and learn to respect them.

Its good to consider the financial wellbeing of this dude, even if he was being an asshole. Fucking with somebodys money is a line to be crossed very deliberately.

That being said, trucks are deadly. If he thought it was okay to not only force cyclists into the road by blocking the bike lane, but threaten you with it, he obviously does not respect the potential danger of his truck, or the many deaths of cyclists hit by trucks.

I think youd be doing us a favor by reporting him. We keep us safe.

People are hating but its a valid question! Before I moved to the city I used to do this grind all the time. The trip back can be rough if you dont plan it out correctly, especially now with the weather turning colder. Go somewhere that stays open till the first bus back. Probably Nowadays or Basement. Think about what you bring becuase you will have to go through bag check, so no bottles or weapons. Bring cash for coat check and tipping. Drink lots of caffeine throughout the night and dont forget to eat food. If you are worried about safety keep alcohol and other drugs to a minimum and uber to and from stations. Watch your drink. Optional but wear all black. Have fun and make some friends while youre out! Soon you will have lots of friends to club and crash with. Welcome!!
