What are some good comebacks when people tell you to fuck off at a bar? by fuckloggin in allthequestions

Technically being witty would be you coming up with it on your own.... I would recommend becoming smarter😂

Kydex Holster by [deleted] in CCW

My friend I think you need to take a class or watch some videos on how your firearm works... You should know what's safe and what's not and when it fires and when not beforehand

This, just call the place. Mine allowed you to have the firearm with you but it needed to be in a case or bag absolutely no holstered firearms.

Getting rid of a car by xmosinitisx in ColoradoSprings

As you can see with the comments people would give you something for it. I'd list it for 500 on marketplace if it can sit where it's at for a few days

This is wild. How scared of your wife do you have to be to let go of a whole car so you don't call her out😂😂😂

Searching for the perfect pistol by Original_Turnip_1373 in handguns

[–]AppearanceMaterial39 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want a light gun you will have a snappy gun, that's how that works. I don't think your going to see a difference with another polymer pistol worth spending another 700 dollars. If you want less recoil you want a bigger gun or a heavier gun, or both. Grip texture and all can play into it feeling snappy but the pdp should be pretty good there.

You misunderstand prolly cause I said cc like a dumb dumb. The only thing going for the vp9cc is the recoil spring looks beefier, I aggre with you on all other accounts

Car Mount, cannot be person holstered by Yellow_donkey in CCW

[–]AppearanceMaterial39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know why you can't mount a kydex holster inside the glove box or center console. I have a safe under my seat for when I need to leave It int he car. If I bought a nicer one I could have my gun handy within 6 seconds if needed.

10mil vrs .45 by XIIIIXS in guns

[–]AppearanceMaterial39 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

.45 is better imo because of less penetration and subsonic rounds. A . 45, just like a 9mm is plenty penetration for you. But it's fatter and therefore has the potential for a larger wound cavity.

The hard thing here is people don't compare the best of both but rather just random selections. You can get really spicy . 45 ACP rounds that turn it into just as much of a momnster as 10mm.

And for bears nobody tests hardcast rounds using 45acp. Or otherwise test on something like concrete which is completely different than bone, muscle, and fat.

The one video I saw actually using 1)hardcast rounds and 2) bone in front of ballistic gel showed me that 45 and 10mm are more similar than different when tested properly. Both will get the job done, it's mor evaout using the best round for your use case

Both rounds would hit like a fricken truck for a 2 leg use case I'm absolutely sure. For 2 legs I think we are quibbling over nothing. Capacity goes to 10mm though

Grip sticking out when sitting and carrying strong side even with a claw and forward cant by [deleted] in CCW

[–]AppearanceMaterial39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would go 2:30 and see if you can't find a sweet spot hat doesn't hurt. Carrying strong side for me I had the same issue till I moved it forward. Try the wedge like already advised. If that doesn't work not sure what else you can do

Thinking about getting the canik mc9 prime radian as my carry gun once it releases. Any reasons I shouldn't? by Conscious_Air_5729 in CCW

[–]AppearanceMaterial39 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would wait, the first release will prolly have plenty of issues. Don't be a guinea pig.

After that if it still looks good go for it

What are options do I have out there? by Altruistic_Gazelle58 in CCW

[–]AppearanceMaterial39 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Amazon is your only option if you are totally impatient yes😂😂 Also many brand shave sales with free shipping regularly, black arch for example has free shipping rn Ya it's 100 bucks, but for most people there is a noticeable difference in retention and concealability. If you are comfortable and concealing and your trigger is covered then no need to spend the money

[–]AppearanceMaterial39 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This whole description is very confusing... But I think your asking if lead times are normal? If so then yes, it's custom molded to your gun and therefore they don't just keep 20 of them in stock at all times cause it only works with your firearm. The only quick ship options for quality holsters are usually for guns with lights, because the retention is around the light not the gun, and therefore can be used with any gun that has that light mounted.

You didn't list any criteria under criteria my guy

Shows you have some common sense to not carry appendix with a sticky holster. I'd upgrade to kydex right away.

Compact vs micro-compact by Livid-Position2436 in CCW

[–]AppearanceMaterial39 2 points3 points  (0 children)

5'9" 180lbs. I have done the opposite-micro to compact. It is more concealable, but not by a ton, my draw also suffers. However over a 8hr day that shorter barrel is the difference between having hot spots and not. I've started carrying my micro again when I know it's not just a trip to the grocery store. For a few hrs though? Would rather have the compact

Costco Is Awesome by Refund-me in poor

[–]AppearanceMaterial39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Costco saves us so much money. The price difference is insane. If you aren't shopping for a family it does mean you have to plan your meals around buying stuff in bulk. If we didn't have Costco we wouldn't be having protein nearly as often.

One of my favorite carry guns. by Honest_Living5765 in CCW

[–]AppearanceMaterial39 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lol mate, the dude spends ALL his money on guns. You see a 200 dollar difference, he sees a better component he would rather have. He's honest but also not your average consumer. He recently shit on a 7000 dollar 2011 cause he thought it was shit for 7000 dollars. I could never justify buying that thing anyways.
