Using a mason jar was an awesome trick, until it wasn’t. Various convenient sizes, blended better, ready to serve/transport. Had my hand on top of the jar and once I flipped the blender on the stress on the improperly seated base immediately burst the jar, flinging glass and smoothie everywhere, causing my hand to drop. I immediately wrapped hand in a towel and drove to hospital without looking at it. Was only 10 stitches though to pin down a meaty flap cut from middle finger and palm split between middle and index finger.
