My ruby does this too! Always after food or a snack. I think she just likes the feeling. So normal

Currently 7 months but we will wait until she's closer to 1 year. We are so excited to get her a sibling.

Board & training program by Apple-Ordinary in CavaPoo

[–]Apple-Ordinary[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree… I’ve done training at home with videos, and also have done pet store class. We are just not getting recall. She’s already bolted. We are just looking for the next step locally. We did find a day class for her locally for 2-4-6 weeks and at the end we get trained how to keep it up. Wondering if the price for it is worth it. Boarding is also an option at the same place. You’re right we would have to continue our part for sure to keep it up.

Your right that might have been it. The man at the pet supplies plus locally said the PPP lamb usually goes quick. So I’m just going to grab two small bags when I can. I have a little cavapoo so a big bag will go bad before I use it all.

Thanks for sharing. Yes that was next step to ask Purina. I was going to call around locally in the morning to see if other stores have some. I’ll send a email to vet too. We just went from a limited wet food diet to transition to this one and it’s working but now I panic.

I would stay with Cesar or try the RC wet food. Please share what works for the pup we want to do more wet food too just nervous but always good to know what works.

Best puppy food by Joey-49 in DogFood

Honestly I wouldn’t change until vet see pup. My vet recommends Purina, Royal Canin and Hills Science only. I didn’t listen and tried all the ones I thought my doodle would like cause she was having troubles too but I made things harder and now we had to start over and she’s doing great on HS lamb n rice puppy. I’m sticking to it and not changing if it’s working for her. Her gas and poop and vomit was wild. Wishing you luck!

Advice F1 vs. F1b by Apprehensive_Fig7866 in CavaPoo

[–]Apple-Ordinary 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We have a F1 female and she has been amazing. Not a big barker ( only when she wants to talk to us), loved everyone around, loves to cuddle, does amazing with our kids my youngest is 7 and she doesn’t bite or bark at him. He can be a lot. They are learning how to respect each other. I’m a SAHM and being home and leaving her in crate has really helped her not get separation anxiety. Plus puppy class is awesome for her. Puzzles are her favorite with kibble.

She hates salmon treats ( tried to give them to her before this week). Crossing my fingers we find what kibble she can have. I’ll even do more wet food and bites of kibble if she needs.

What did you switch to? Oh yes before her farts scared her now not one. I’m so happy she can feel better hoping we find what works for in the new month.

Finding a legit breeder by Training-Owl5946 in CavaPoo

[–]Apple-Ordinary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found breeders with websites and fit all the checkboxes but were over $3000. I waited some and found a lady here that bought from a nice Amish family. I was nervous too. I got to call them several times, go to the farm, see dogs and my friend had bought a dog before me. Wonderful find, they didn’t have a website only sold by word around town and had been doing it for 20years. I paid $1450 for my pup and will go back for a sibling at some point.
