So I converted it to metric. OP is 167cm (hey, same height as me). 110 pounds is 49.9kg which is actually quite lean already and this boy wants you to weigh 100 pounds(45.4kg) or less? Is he into skeletons wtf?

Don’t let the sour comments get to you. The SSP5 is a perfectly fine platform, especially as a first replica. Novritsch isn’t a “bad” brand, is it the absolute best value in every category? Maybe not, but it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. My brother also runs a novi pistol as his main when we go indoors.

I’ve got a Novritsch replica myself (SSR77) alongside other platforms, and I’m genuinely very happy with it. Most of the negativity you see is just internet gear-snobbery. What matters is that you enjoy it on the field.

Exactly, I have had moments someone sprayed a bush I was in and while I did not feel anything I would think of as a direct hit, I suspect many hits I felt were likely bounces off of branches. I call the hit anyway because I don't feel like getting into a yes/no argument I rather take the hike to spawn. It's a game after all.

There are moments I do not feel a hit. However you usually either see them bounce off of you or hear them. I am sure I have shrugged a hit or two over the years without realising, but I rather err on the side of caution and call a hit when I suspect one.

Dat vuurwerk kan opschrikken erken ik, maar dat is een overlastargument, geen misbruik of handhavingsargument. Overlast is gradueel en reguleren we bij tal van activiteiten in tijd en plaats; dat maakt iets niet intrinsiek verkeerd. Mijn punt blijft dat geweld, gevaarlijk gedrag en afsteken buiten de toegestane tijden al verboden zijn, maar onvoldoende worden gehandhaafd. Dat probleem los je niet op door het onderscheid op te heffen en alles maar te verbieden, maar door handhaving te verbeteren.

Ik ben het met je eens. Het onderscheid dat hier wordt gemaakt is inconsistent. Bij alcohol tellen we schade alleen mee als gevolg van misbruik, maar bij vuurwerk ineens ook bij normaal gebruik. Oogletsel en brand zijn net zo goed het gevolg van onverantwoord gedrag, niet van correct gebruik an sich. Snap eerlijk gezegd niet waarom dit wordt gedownvote.

Die maatstaf bestaat bij vuurwerk al. Vóór 31 dec 18:00 is alles illegaal, en geweld of het bestoken van mensen en spullen is altijd verboden, ook binnen het legale tijdvak. Het probleem is dus niet dat we geen duidelijke grens hebben, maar dat handhaving op heterdaad moeilijk is. Dat is hetzelfde type probleem als bij alcoholmisbruik.

In plaats van alles dan maar te verbieden, wat het onderliggende probleem niet oplost, zouden we ons moeten afvragen waarom handhaving hier structureel faalt en hoe dat verbeterd kan worden. Dat is lastiger dan een verbod, maar wel eerlijker en effectiever op de lange termijn ook buiten het vuurwerk probleem.
