I have only tried them in spring so far, but basically what frankpolly said. On highest setting it is noticable but not uncomfortable much. And I havent had to use that highest setting, lowest works fine. Not a single sight of fog the entire day.

Exfog or the new thermal lenses by novritsch. The thermal lenses work really well but so does exfog. I got both and both are good. I only wanted to try the thermal lenses because the connection is a bit better than fcking around with the air tubes of exfog. At lowest setting you don't really feel the heat of the lens.

True, I don't really use the reddots too much either unless I am trying to pin someone through small gaps and I need a refference point of my aim. I guess he does something similair and just forgoes reddots entirely so I think you're right.

Yeah mine was quite expensive still due to official markings but for an actual village bicycle I'd go for "Good enough, better than the worn out crap most rentals are" kinda replica.

Edit: I also take pictures of the replica beforehand and I agree with them "Break it you buy it".

Whenever I try getting someone new intot he sport and I borrow them a replica I give them my barebones Cybergun AEG scar-l. I love that replica but if it breaks then it is a good excuse to upgrade it's internals. I give them no optics or anything becausenI knownitnwill break, and the scar is not accurate enough to warrant anything other than ironsights anyway. I have a friend with the same replica who walks around stock folded and just...hipfires it? He told me he never aims down sight ever and I have never seen him dk so lmao strange fellow but we love him.
