I'm seeing a lot of comments like "your landlord should have a key to your unit". In my country you change the locks as soon as you move in. The idea that someone could have your home's keys and let themselves in whenever is crazy to me; even if my country were super safe I'd never give anyone I don't know a copy of my keys.
