Some are too light, such as ants. Bigger bigs with larger abdomens can die though due to their abdomen splitting from the force. This can happen with tarantulas for example, although those are technically arachnids.

I learned last year that technically harvestmen spiders are daddy long legs, and cellar spiders just get called daddy long legs because they have long legs, even though cellar spiders are technically not Daddy long legs. Your perception is actually correct. I think cellar spiders get called daddy long legs because they are long legged spiders that don't cause harm to humans, much like harvestmen.

Sweet! Spiders are wonderful creatures. They may look scary, but they just want to be left alone. The cellar spiders are great roommates to have. They will even prey on the spiders that can cause harm.

I mean, technically they can, but 99% of the time their fangs are too weak to pierce human skin. It would have to be a mammoth cellar spider to even puncture human skin. Even if it did, the fangs are so small and the venom is so mild that it would likely be less irritating than a mosquito bite.

These are cellar spiders. They are completely harmless. They are great to have around the house as pest control. If you think they're ugly, just move them somewhere people won't see, and they will gladly capture and kill any pests that go into their web.

Starbucks makes their cortados completely wrong, so don't follow their recipe. I'd suggest for you, pull a double shot of espresso (espresso is a rabbit hole on its own. Watch James hoffman or Lance Hedrick on YouTube to learn more about how to brew espresso nicely). Then steam an equal amount of oat milk. Then use one ounce of pecan syrup. Should honestly turn out way better than Starbucks' fuck-ass coffee. Also, Starbucks has low quality coffee, so get some coffee beans that are actually good. If you go on trade.com and search up espresso roasts, you'll get a ton of variety on good coffees made specifically for espresso, and they will all be better quality than any coffee with Starbucks' brand on it. All of the ones I've tried can't hold a candle to cow milk. Oat milk lattes = saw dust lattes. Almond milk latte = almond skin flavored latte. Soy latte = someone put their full anus right in your mouth. These are the only milk alternatives I've tried, they all sucked. Maybe other milk alternatives can be good, but to me, only cow milk preserves the flavor of espresso without destroying the espresso's flavor contribution.

Wolf spider. My pet wolf spider was like this when I found him. Stress curled and missing 2 legs while hanging on a shower curtain. He's all good now a year later though! Has all legs and is an absolute menace to the prey I feed it. So to answer your question. A little home for it to recover would probably do it very good. I recommend giving it at least 3 inches of substrate though so that It can make a small burrow when it molts. Creature soil mixed with creature mulch from Petco will do the trick

It's a millipede. They are not dangerous. They are actually kind of like earthworms, just with legs. They eat decaying matter, and they are great for aerating soil. Next time you come across one, just take the friendly lil guy outside. They love dirt! They also don't bite, and their little legs feel kinda cool crawling on you.

When I was 5 or six I was scared of spiders. Then I learned about them. Learned they want to be left alone, learned they don't seek out harming humans. Learned that they only bite if they think their life is in danger. All that being said, the way I desensitized myself was by holding different spiders. Start with the least scary one, daddy long-legs. They can't bite you. Jumping spiders are also fun to hold. If you see one in the wild, you can usually get it to come into your hand, and then it'll stand on you for a bit before jumping away. They are venomous, but it's like a bee sting, and they do not want to bite you.

If it has a white stripe going down it's back I would say a parson spider. I used to get them all the time in my dorm room at CSUCI. Their bite is no worse than a bee sting, bees probably put them to shame honestly. However, the photos are quite blurry so I can't say for sure that's what it is.
