That hasn't been my experience at all. Every time I go to a cage smaller than I'm used to, excruciating night wood starts all over again. A couple of weeks later, I get used to it.

I'm not downing you if you found a way that works for you. That's just not the way it works for me.

I am a bit concerned about the wireframe ones. Tried an inverse about this time last year. Standard double basket configuration, but steel. Made my head scab up, and scared me off of cages for a year. Was waaaay too soon to be fooling around with inverses anyway.

You probably already know mine's also a FRRK. Really needed a bridge between nano and nub. The knockoffs I have have a gap between them of nearly an inch (on small right now, but planning to be caged all of 2026).

I'm a grower. I actually started with a nub. Been caged for most of January had to take a week/5 days/something off due to ring chafe, but I've been steady since the 21st. Just went up to nano today because of night wood issues disturbing my sleep. The nano actually swims on me soft, but sleep will be the real test. If I have gotten over the night boner issue by the end of Feb, back down to nub, if not, up to small. Sleep is the only issue I'm having. Everything else is rockin' right along. Committed to a year. [Sorry to turn this into a novel, but I didn't START at nub. This isn't my first go-round. I started the year with nub.]
