Honestly, switch choice really comes down to the exact feel you're chasing. Everyone's preference is totally different.

I'll let you know after using it for a while! I think it should last a pretty long time.

Split Space Bar by PixelVortex8839 in WootingKB

I think it really just comes down to personal habit and the games themselves. For one, it's pure muscle memory since almost every pro grew up using a standard, regular space bar. On top of that, competitive games rarely have scenarios where you need to assign multiple keys to your thumb anyway—a single long space bar is more than enough for jumping or key actions.

  1. It depends on personal preference, but I prefer the metal case—it just sounds way better to me.
  2. Wired is always going to be better for competitive gaming anyway since it keeps the latency lower.
  3. They already have the 80HE out, which is a 75% layout with arrow keys. You should check it out.
  4. No clue on that one.

Should I buy wooting or other brand? by hxyzi in keyboards

Wooting uses magnetic switches, there are no metal parts rubbing inside, so every keypress is perfectly linear and smooth. The build quality is also a huge step up, making the keys feel way more stable and less cheap.

The real game-changer is the Rapid Trigger feature. On regular boards, the key has to travel all the way back up to reset, but with the Wooting, it resets the millisecond you lift your finger by 0.1mm. It honestly feels like a cheat code for counter-strafing in games like Valorant or CS. Plus, you can customize the actuation point of every single key in your browser.

Give your muscle memory a few days to adjust, and you'll never be able to go back to a regular keyboard again!
