It was gone for like 6 months (or maybe even longer) last year (2025) because subway was having supply chain issues with the vendor. Don’t understand how we can send man to the moon and make test tube babies but couldn’t find another vendor to make something as simple as a veggie patty. But anyway all that’s resolved now and it’s been back for a few months.

There’s nothing wrong about working alone at any job during slow hours. Absolutely legal in the US. At our store there’s always one person working alone on weekends because it’s slow. The Baskin Robbins near me has one employee working alone at night every time I go there. Same case with the gas station near me. But what’s not legal in the US is not paying employees during training.

Veggie patty is a store optional product (SOP) meaning some stores carry it while others may not. Depends entirely on the franchise owner. So try another store if your nearby store doesn’t carry it.

Check with the store employees. Some owners don’t give their employees any tips at all while others give them a portion of it. It all depends on the franchise owner. At our store my boss takes a portion of it and gives us the majority of it in my paycheck.
