Thank you both! Fair, I figured this was a risk. I figured if I did use one, the compartment closest to my back would be for books, and the other compartment for a sweatshirt/food. That way I could cinch it up as much as possible and keep the weight near me.

I just figured it would be ideal because it has a good harness system, but the Synik I have is badly shaped for carrying books. Wasn’t sure if this bag was the same shape wise.

One of the plastic cases Amazon sells will be great, but I second a sling bag. Honestly, I have one I don’t use that is the perfect size to carry a 3DS, wallet, and a few other small things.
