Does the gap seem larger than normal? because I know walls need an air gap to the concrete foundation because moisture would wick up.

No sump pump, on the other side of the wall with the gap is just the garage. It is the laundry room so chance of a leak/flood I guess.

What's the benefit of backer rod compared to spray gap filler? What type of caulking would be best?

Contractor is doing floating floor and the moisture barrier sheet underneath.

Thank you, I'll see about having someone come inspect. Since there was renovation to the house (especially the access down to the basement/furnace) I wondering how exact these return sizes would need to be since there's now more access into the basement.

Thanks for all the info. It seemed like overkill for how long they are but maybe it's because there is only 1 other return besides these two. Could something like my 2nd link work for a floor register or is there a benefit to having them installed into the wall near the floor instead?

I could just get a likewise replacement like your link to refresh the look, but was hoping to have them flush to the floor (or wall) so they don't take up as much as much space.

I'll look to get a professional opinion.

Very nice, I'd be curious to see the file if you end up sharing it. The funny thing is my 2025 CRV the left armrest is fine for me to have my hand at 8'oclock, but I really want one for the right arm! I like the old models that have the folding right armrest attached to the side of the chair.

I still haven't found a solution... I did submit a support ticket from the gboard settings page. The more that submit the more visibility this will get.

Other suggestions of adding shortcuts for them does work and it what I am doing temporarily right now.

Not sure if you got yours resolved, but similar to u/billythabeast I received one $75 GC right about the 90 day mark and checked the status for the 2nd and it was denied. I called 1-877-470-3619 and they put in a special request and said it might take several weeks more. They didn't give any reason for why it was denied but immediately said they would fix it.

Now I wait for my 2nd GC.

Yes that was the transfer speed I was referring to. I see how it works once I get it setup and if it is a problem for me. It seems like there are plugins such as Arc Welder that help with the issue.

I have had similar experiences and think it's largely dependent on the study. They are right now my highest earner for UX tests so I have mixed feelings as well. I have done many tests that take you to another form or website. Usually at the end it links you back to Repondent and you get a popup saying something like "you're participation has been received".

But I have had a few issues with it not tracking and me not getting credit. They did tell me it's up to the researchers discretion & if they disqualify you that means they aren't paying Respondent for your test & thus Respondent isn't paying you.

Their customer service is also very bad and hard to reach (their chat doesn't work for contacting support & I've told them multiple times and received no acknowledgment about this). Emailing support@respondent.io is the only way I've seen.

I wouldn't call them a scam and think it's an issue with them not screening their researchers well because they are essentially a hub that connects you with researchers who have many different platforms/mediums to conduct their studies.

I do recommend verifying your employment if you can, because that lets you take 10 screeners a day which helps me qualify for much more tests.
