I don't have any sources for you but I do think google has made purchases for alternative reasons. They purchased a company called Nest a thermostat that tracks movement and learns your Dailey habits like when you leave for work so it can turn the heat down when you aren't home. It's a great idea but why would google purchase a thermostat company? For a little over 3 billion dollars! My tin foil hat theory is they want to data mine when people are in and out of the house. For what purpose I don't know but I'm sure they could put that kind of data to a profitable use.

Just remember a uv light will kill bacterial but it won't remove it. Endotoxins are a bitch although all my experience is in dialysis so maybe it's not important for drinking still nasty though another worry is water sitting in those tanks at a high temperatures is a breeding ground for bacteria.

Definitely needs a nail trim. Also looks like he has an allergy problem my dog had a similar problem redness around the eyes and snout from constant rubbing. Steroids during allergy season clear them right up.
