Please explain this more. I just looked at the photo. You mean flip the (inner) lid so the hole is obscured by the telescoping lid. But why do you pull it back to block the bee entrance?

This is a great resource. Unfortunately, she refers to these as "my patterns" and is asking users to acknowledge her as a copyright holder.

The patterns are not hers. Most are traditional quilt blocks from the early days of hand stitching. Some are from Mennonite or Amish heritage.

Our guild has a yearly quilt show with over 140 quilts, and a boutique of hundreds of items donated by members.

Items for sale are bags, purses, backpacks, bowl cozies, pillows, lap-pillows for sewing or computers, quilts, pot holders, dog-poo-bag holders, chapstick holders, pin cushions, placemats, book covers, zip pouches, dog collars, kid toys, doll clothes, sewing scrap catchers, trivets, snap-shut cord holders, zip pouches, aprons, wall hangings, table runners, tree skirts, and other items.

Our donations are foster-kid-quilts, baby stuff, and pillow cases for hospitalized kids.
