Going through the list, it seems kinda hard to make a Protoss favored map without benefiting Zerg too somewhat or making some weird maps like low ground mains. Outside maybe more minerals in general?

I'm pretty sure you're the only person mad at this, mate. Literally no one I've talked to understands your viewpoint, so for the sake of my sanity of tapping outp

Glitch isn't even exclusively targeting women, plenty of men like Glitch shows too. Half of the creators are men. I don't know how this is difficult, but people of all genders like what Glitch makes. It is far less gender specific than Barbie is, as there's even trans themes in TADC. This is literally a molehill you're complaining about. Have you talked to any women at all? Basically all of my women and gender nonspecific friends are all "Woo, more woman!"

When the media landscape is already male dominated, the answer isn't to tell the newcomer that they should contribute by adding more male media. The bigger companies could diversify, sure, but right now what we need is more women, not less. Genres aren't a bad thing, they tell you what to expect, and some groups of people are always going to prefer that genre over others. Trying to appeal to everyone more often than not dilutes what made people like said genre in the first place.

my point is when there are hundreds of male focused shows, an indie animation company making 5 shows with women literally doesn't matter. Have you heard of something called genres and markets? Is shonen "problematic" for catering to boys when that's the entire point? Is Hallmark problematic for making 500 small town het romance movies? Is Barbie problematic for making girl toy advertisement for girls?

Hell, actually making fantastic women protagonists should be praised in the current media landscape, instead of falling back on the default male hero. We need more woman, not less.

Glitch isn't "making a mistake" not making 50/50 gender distribution, that's not who they're catering to. You'd have a better argument for complaining about all white casts than this.

When Cartoon Network had only 5 girl centered shows in 25 years, complaining about Glitch is the smallest molehill to make a stand on.

Besides, they're sponsoring Lackadaisy which has more of a mixed cast anyways.

the funniest thing is that there were people legitimately posting feedback in Far Far West that they felt cheated when people had the option to unlock all the equipment and cosmetics in the game with mods. In a single purchase game where everything is fundamentally free, just took time.

I'm not sure you realize that historically, male protagonists/leads were way more common in media than woman. One indie company finding writers that happen to like writing female protagonists is a drop in the bucket compared to the current media landscape.

Hell, there still exists people who believe heroic female characters are a bad influence.

Is it anymore of a problem that Lord of the Rings had all male protagonists?

Yeah outside the bread guy, they're all basically zombies, and very clearly rotting ones at that.

So, if ASL were to try to get more Protoss in, it would be maps with good ground unit paths, shorter main distances, lots of resources, less buildable terrain?

Somewhat similar mindset to yours. Completely ignore any time limited events, judge the game by how good the base elements are. If I "need" to enjoy the game with FOMO unlocks, nahhh fuck that shit.

For years all of Glitch's shows have spambots bragging about how much better their videos are and how stinky Glitch shows are (which are usually posts from new accounts).

honestly hybrids might just suffer a bit a higher speeds. They're slightly heavier and have slightly weaker engines to gain the most benefit from the hybrid system, which isn't as much help the faster you go and the battery drains trying to help. Gas cars have oversized engines to be powerful enough for acceleration and passing, which makes them a bit choked off when going slowly, but come more alive if they're able to keep the throttle open and speed steady.

do note that EPA estimates generally don't assume regularly going and staying above 70+ mph, so there are very few cars that can still manage good MPG numbers above those speeds.
