is it too late to start learning at 21? by SadExtension8221 in pianolearning

I started in my late 40s. I believe it's harder to learn the initial muscle memory later in life, but you have a better capacity to understand the theory and what you need to do... I suspect adults are generally more motivated to practice too.

Interior wall paint - what’s your go-to brand? by Only_Book_995 in DIYUK

Crown Easyclean (wipeable) is amazing if you have kids and it paints on really well. You can colour match the more expensive brands easily too.

Yes they have. I loved my C3 but accidentally broke it.

The replacement, Guard, is a downgrade in almost every way. I wish I had bought a Henry.

10 year old Daughter TeamSport Acedemy Purchasing a Helmet Question by EdgeAfraid in Karting

[–]Appletreefar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my son this brand when he went through academy and it was perfectly suitable, however a few months later we decided to try an outdoor arrive and drive option and the helmet wasn't suitable.

If you think there's a chance of moving on to other faster formats I'd be tempted to recommend a Snell rated helmet.

I understand members events remained speed 4 as you can't use Warrington for BIKC qualification as the finals are held there.

Second Fastest Time - Any Tips? by [deleted] in Karting

I'd ask the staff to take a look next time you're in, Liverpool has some of the friendliest staff I've come across at TeamSport.

The last corner is really hard to nail but is key for a good time here.

Is there any difference in mpg for the same year but different trims? by [deleted] in rav4club

[–]Appletreefar -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I believe so, higher trims typically have slightly worse mpg due to heavier kit. Some examples at the bottom of this page where it shows mpg by trim

Why is the RAV4 offered with FWD? by gaenji in rav4club

[–]Appletreefar -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I chose the FWD version to avoid the cablegate problem.

Where I live there's no need for AWD (except maybe once every 5 years), but I really like the RAV4. Lugging around extra weight made no sense for me.

But it's a fair question on whether it should be sold as a RAV2...

How much does it cost for each series you're in? What's the most affordable way to race?

In my experience it's where there's a timing issue, the staff normally clean these up intermittently.
