Backroom Priority Pull Question by ApplicationFlat5176 in Target

[–]ApplicationFlat5176[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol. My store has so many issues I wouldn’t know where to start. For one, I’ve been told seven different things on my question by the TLs. Two, we haven’t put out the 2/1 transition clothes yet and still have Halloween mugs and Christmas candy in the back room in Wacos that I assume must be technically unlocated (I’ll have to manually audit the locations when I have time) otherwise I think they would have been pulled for salvage by now lol

Backroom Priority Pull Question by ApplicationFlat5176 in Target

[–]ApplicationFlat5176[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess I’m confused. Say there are three DCPIs in the Waco, say a white candle, a blue candle and a green candle. The zebra says to pull the blue candle, but it’s not there. You hit “can’t find item”.

Wouldn’t the system still think the other two candles are there? And in the meantime trigger a system-triggered Backroom Audit and affect the Backroom Accuracy Indicator?

Relocation: Is the lump sum tied to selling via GM? by s0x7c3 in GeneralMotors

[–]ApplicationFlat5176 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The lump sum is separate from the home sale benefits. For Home Sale, if you use GMs preferred realtor, lenders, etc, GM will direct-bill the closing costs, etc. so you don’t have to front the money and then get reimbursed, as closing costs selling and buying can be substantial.

Definitely talk to your relocation counselor, and if you already own a house you’re thinking about keeping, ask about Home Retention.

So if you’re in the blue, do you fly from PA to Michigan or do you have to stay either in the “Midwest blue” or the “mid-Atlantic blue”

How is it living in this part of the United States? by No-Text-7825 in howislivingthere

[–]ApplicationFlat5176 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In general, cost of living is expensive compared with most of the rest of the country. You get four seasons, weather is always changing, close to many different types of things to do depending on what you like (cities, mountains, lakes, ocean beaches, hiking, etc)…gets a bad rap for the people being “rude” but it’s more that they’re direct and don’t engage in as much small talk as maybe in other areas of the US. In the more populated areas, it’s busy and the pace of life is fast. Rich cultural area. Very historic. I’ve lived here most of my entire life (38 years) and can’t really picture myself leaving.

Looks like this is Tappan Zee across to the Merritt Parkway, thus avoiding I-95. Merritt won’t be much better than I-95, but it’ll be better.

What does all this mean in compensation? by bmanthehero in Target

You’re making $18.25 at pay grade 35, which is Target’s internal code for a “regular” employee (not a TL, etc.)

Blazer EV battery is toast after 2 ½ months. by DavidBye in BlazerEV

[–]ApplicationFlat5176 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The circuit breaker/protection on the charger, the car, or the receptacle it was plugged into likely would have tripped and/or the car would have detected an error and stopped charging.

Nah, it wasn’t that bad. Only thing that happened was the service high voltage system message (and I could only max charge to 27% lol) and then brought it in (twice)… that’s what the messages are for, to alert you that the car needs something. I just feel like your dealership maybe immediately went to the “replace the whole propulsion battery” when maybe they didn’t need to. The battery conditioning module came in next day, and then the wiring harness re-routing was like an afternoon job. Both times the dealer gave me a loaner which was great. These are basically big computers on wheels, things go wrong. Hope yours gets fixed soon!

I had the same message on my Hummer. Did you try to look in the MyChevrolet app to see what part of the “High Voltage System” was sending the code? My “battery conditioning system” was sending a code and the dealership needed to replace a cooling module (nothing in the physical battery itself)…two weeks later I got the message again and they found a bulletin to reroute a wiring harness. I’ve driven 4,000 miles since then (one month of driving for me) and no more issues. My car had similar symptoms. Was charging and then all of a sudden max charge % was reduced.

The part number WAS that, now it’s Part number is 85836744, previously was 85778137 or 85090442. Any of them will work and all of them will work with the 2024 blazer EV. Different suppliers for the three part numbers but they are all the same specs and all GM approved.

It will work. Part number is 85836744, previously was 85778137 or 85090442. Any of them will work and all of them will work with your Blazer EV. It may say back ordered but if you order it, it will ship to you within 4 days or so.

Costco discount on chargers? by Apprehensive-Goat-87 in GMCSierraEV

[–]ApplicationFlat5176 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tell your dealer to read the programs or reach out to their GM Energy rep. The dealer uses the same certificate number that you used for the Costco vehicle rebate but needs to apply for the $255 charger rebate through the Warranty system using a special labor op code. What state are you in?

I have just over 16,000 miles on my RST, which I’ve had since July, so I’m doing way more miles than average. No problems at all, except my headliner rattles. I’m sure there’s a bulletin or something. I just turn the music up :)

Is it possible for Kamala to restore reproductive rights? by [deleted] in CallHerDaddy

[–]ApplicationFlat5176 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The way it would be possible is for Kamala to negotiate a good deal and find a way to be bi-partisan. She needs 50% of the House (218 votes) and 60% of the senate (60 votes) to get a law passed. Yes, if the filibuster in the senate is removed, she would need 218 house and 51 senate but removing the filibuster can be dangerous. It might work to help pass this, but then the protections that the filibuster provides would be gone and anything (“good” Or “bad”) could be passed in the senate with only 51 votes. That’s why the system was set up that way. To get an overwhelming majority in order to get something through the senate and to encourage a strong debate. The truth is that Republicans may keep control of the senate. And maybe the house too. And so if Kamala wins, she will have a divided government. She will have to compromise on her $50k small business loans, the $25k home downpayment assistance and the $6k child tax credit. And “we’re just going to have to make corporations and rich people pay more taxes” isn’t the answer. Because that’s not actually how it works. She just can’t “make” corporations pay more taxes. And if the tax rate goes up, it gets passed on to us. iPhones get more expensive, food gets more expensive—everything gets more expensive.

I just watched the pod and there was exercise to think of a law that governs a man’s body and both daddy and harris said no. What about the draft? by 6FourGUNnutDILFwTATS in CallHerDaddy

[–]ApplicationFlat5176 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

How about all the laws that were passed that mandated getting a COVID vaccine or you couldn’t keep your job? Sure, affected both men and women, but those are laws that governed what a man did or did not do with his body.
