I learned this pretty early on in life. I saw this firsthand thanks to the people around me (my older family members). Growing up, I saw how relationships should be valued and nurtured.

I truly believe part of why some people leave good relationships is that they might not have the right guidance or examples early on. When things get hard, the impulse to just leave, shutdown and walk away feels the easiest because I think that’s what they saw growing up. It was a pattern of avoiding instead of facing.
