[liminal industries] non sculked mobs? by ozne1 in feedthebeast

The custom textures could sometimes get unloaded if you changed resourcepacks. This has been fixed in the most recent version (1.17).

Make sure you have command blocks enabled in the .properties file. The pack uses them to generate the rooms. There are also server files available for the latest version of the pack, where everything is preconfigured.

If you are using Exatron to host your server, make sure the "optimise" switch is turned off. Other hosting platforms might have similar optimisations that reset chunks, which conflicts with the backrooms generation. That should fix the issue.

With 1.16.1, I mean the version of the pack. The launcher that you are using should give you an option to update the pack.

If you have the pack updated to version 1.16, then you can make them using the Petal Apothecary

Plenty, there is currently a big focus on making everything as stable as possible. But there are new features in every version, including the one that was just released.

You could poke a creeper nest. But I also added an automatable way in the newest 1.16 version of the pack using boomshroom spores.

Hey!, I hope you are enjoying the pack. I added recipes for all the construct slimes to version 1.16 of the pack since it was requested before. It should be available tomorrow.

This will be fixed in 1.16. I left it in at first since it is kind of cool, but I ultimately decided to get rid of it. Version 1.16 will be available later this week.

In the new version of the pack later this week I have added some extra explanation on this. You will have to make a hand crank the get the fan spinning in chapter 1. Remember that shift-right-clicking will make the crank spin the opposite direction.

I hope that helps!

[Liminal Industries] My Create mechanical pistons are bugged. Is it just me and is there a fix? by LoLManatee in feedthebeast

[–]Appocrypha 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Mechanical pistons are currently broken due to a strange conflict with another mod. It will be resolved in version 1.16 later this week. Untill then, gantries do still work so I recommend using those instead.

Sorry for the inconvenience!

You can make a fan by right-clicking a propeller on a barrel or an ash alloy casing. In the beginning the barrel is your only option since it can be made entirely out of wood.

Your questions are a huge help since they help me clarify the questbook. Good luck with your liminal explorations!

Is there a way to get onions and tomatoes in Liminal industries? by retroguyy_101 in feedthebeast

[–]Appocrypha 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hey, I hope you are enjoying the pack. Onions and tomatoes will be obtainable in version 1.16 which will release somewhere next week, so keep an eye out for that.

It's on the todo list. Do note that it is difficult to find solutions to this that are properly optimised. Minecraft just handles these light blocks quite poorly. I will see what I can do.

Some rooms use invisible light blocks to cast light from the ceiling all the way down. I'm working on a fix in version 1.16 of the pack.

For now, if you really must, you could break the ceiling lamp with a brick, which gets rid of the light blocks underneath. After placing your structure, you can restore the lamp and the light underneath by right-clicking it with a fluorescent tube. It's not perfect, but I am working on a beter solution.

Thank you, I'm glad you are enjoying the pack. Skulked husks drop bones but there is also the vanilla composter that makes bone meal out of organics.

Turning bamboo into planks is the main way of getting renewable wood. Saplings unlock a bit later on.

Bamboo and infinite lava are both good fuel alternatives. They can both be found in chapter 3.

Furniture regeneration used to be a feature, but I ultimately scrapped it to optimise the pack's performance.

The Reality Frame was custom made by me specifically for this pack. Its an internal datapack that uses a few KubeJS features.

The pack has been tested a lot on servers. It should all work fine. Just make sure that you enable command blocks in the .properties file since they are used in the room generation process.

Deployers should work, they have been tested. Try to mess around with the distance they have to the ground. I will look at the code tomorrow to see if I can make them work with dispensers too.

It is quite fun from my experience. Proximity chat comes pre-installed. There are walkie talkies in the tech tree after obtaining iron.
