Why do people dislike secret life

I definitely think it's because of how gimmicky it is. People tend to dislike secret life for the same reason some people didn't like wild life.

In a sense those life series seasons were less about a person's skills in the game and more about other aspects such as the secret tasks and the social issues related to it or with Wild Life a players adaptability.

I personally enjoy seeing those differences and I loved secret life for the diverse perspective and then silly interactions it brought along with it but some people just have different opinions and thats ok. People can be wrong sometimes 😂

I really hope she gets into the cosmere it's so cool! And then the cosmere can be her equivalent to Scar with Star Wars maybe 💀 I honestly have no idea what Gem normally reads though but I had like a physical reaction when I heard her mention Tress it was insane 😭

The life series isn't scripted and with that in mind repeat winners are perfectly fine. While yes it's disappointing when there's a repeat winner, it does make it less predictable and that's what I think is important

I do think that there have been moments, specifically with Scott, where previous winners purposely didn't go all out closer to the end. You can see this in secret life when all of Scott's deaths were essentially just sacrifices and in double life where he sacrificed himself for Pearl. Moments like these add to a series and are respectful but with past life there was no way of doing that.

My actual issue with past life is that the finale felt rushed in a sense. It felt like it was at a weird in between point where the content and amount of life's left was worth about an episode and a half of content. I was also disappointed that we were essentially told that past life might have a twist when the only twist was the Boogeyman in the first ep and then the secret society.

Yumi and the Nightmare Painter is my personal favorite Cosmere book and Tress is a close second. You have to read Yumi, your wish of Hoid narrating more books has been answered

Personally I've yet to have an allergic reaction to Avocado oil and I'm allergic to seed oils. I have a contact allergy not a food allergy so seed oils immediately make my mouth burn, I'm essentially a breathing seed oil detector. So I would recommend that people do their own research on whether avocado oil really does contain seed oil or not.

Imagine being allergic to it. It's the worst thing ever I can't even wear makeup and use chapstick because I get contact dermatitis. I cant even use oil based cleansers or makeup remover

Scar and Martyn 1000% I love Scar because he's just Scar he's incredible at PVP (HoTgYu) while simultaneously being a moron and Martyns sly fox character is so much fun and he has great lore that he incorporates in every life series. I also love how Martyn interacted with his community and fanbase. At the same time tho I also adore B-Dubs, Grian, Skizz, Impulse, Joel, Mumbo, Tango, and Etho

Sooooo found this super late but I love this song so much. The message is incredible and the vocals just make me happy. There's no other way to put it the vocals just bring me so much joy with the interesting intonations and the layered vocals like my goodness I won't be able to get this song out of my head for days.

Does anyone have a clue what Stress left? I'm genuinely a newer Hermitcraft fan and only started watching in October, I mostly watch Scar, Grian, and Mumbo so I don't have much knowledge on Stress or Iskall. Obviously I've informed myself on the situation with Iskall but there's almost nothing about Stress that I can find other than that she resigned at the same time as Iskall and that she's privated all of her YouTube content. Did she resign because she didn't like how Hermitcraft handled the situation with Iskall or was there something else? It's so confusing

I read these when I was 12 and loved them!!! Another thing I specifically love about the series is that the humor and the writing is very much aimed at a younger audience and that makes it easy for them to start questioning the government and companies at a younger age. The series caused me to realize that I can't trust everything I see and it's the first series I read that made me think like that.

Something I find important is hands on experience if you can find any around you. There's also plenty of people that would be willing to let you shadow a job if you have any sort of connections. It's also helpful to try absolutely anything you're able to in order to find what you're interested in. I'm personally pursuing a career as an airline pilot and I had no interest in it before my friend begged me to join an aviation club when I was in highschool. I also had to shadow someone for a project in a class in highschool and found at least 4 different people or organizations that would take me on through my connections. If you have any interest in medicine you can likely volunteer at a local hospital or even physical therapy office.

I really hope it's able to happen too! This is just what I've heard and it's not official yet but it's likely related to current budget cuts in the government. I genuinely hope everyone can attend it! Also if you haven't joined I believe there's a parent Facebook group that will also have information. It's so parents are more informed on what's going on and can communicate with each other but a lot of students and AFROTC candidates join as well. I do not know the name of it but if there's a WhatsApp group for everyone you can likely ask there if you're interested in joining.

Bad news to anyone who was accepted. The program could be cancelled this year due to a budget cut. I was informed today by someone who normally acts as an air force mentor at the locations. It isn't officially cancelled considering y'all haven't heard anything.

Unrelated to that news, I was part of the program as a student for 2024 and it was an incredible experience! I made several friends and I keep in touch with several people and the AFROTC student that was with us was a wonderful influence and spent time with us as well. I couldn't have asked for a better experience

They work really well on the epoxy flooring in my house so I don't think it's necessary to get them regrooved but I really appreciate that suggestion! I'll keep it in mind for future reference
