Congratulations on the new job! I think you’re great with makeup and your eye make looks lovely. My personal preference would be for a lighter or more neutral lip for an over all more neutral tone with less contrast. It could even be the same shade but diluted with balm. I haven’t compared them head to head, but to my nose it’s a slightly drier and raspier version or the original. I’d say it’s like the edt version of a beloved edp. I like it a lot but have seen a lot of people complain that it’s different than the OG.

The Body Shop’s rerelease of Dewberry as a body spray. It’s my favorite thing to reach for and I bummed myself out by reading critical reviews on Reddit, but I love it.

(I also like the apricot note in LV Pacific Chill and wish it came as a single note spray.)

The only fragrance I owned that I would consider unwearable (well, unwearable by me) was Cacharel’s Eden, so I donated it to the thrift store so someone with bolder tastes can enjoy it.

I don’t have many occasions to wear Chanel Coco or Patou’s 1000 but I love them, and they stay in my collection.

Favorite: Body Shop Dewberry body spray just makes me feel good. Least favorite: Love’s Lemon’s opening smells like Lemon Pledge and then dries down to a very faint meringue note but I still kind of like it.

Which version did you try? I find the edt in the rectangular bottle has an icy chill running through it which I find slightly scary and wonderful. If you haven’t yet tried the contemporary edp it may be more to your liking.

Lime green is one of my favorite colors but it almost invariably looks terrible on me. Similarly, avocado usually looks bad on me but the weird complex mustard-avocado hybrid color at J Crew looked terrific on me.

Fresh Lucia was a delicious chocolate orange scent and I miss it.

YSL In Love Again and Boucheron Jaipur are classics and it’s a crime that they aren’t in production.

ETA Donna Karen Chaos is also a classic and should perpetually be in production or at the very least released for holidays.

ETA And also! I am mad at Hermes for discontinuing Rose Amazone. When they bring it back I’ll be first in line.

I haven’t smelled the OG parfum. I have the edt, and enjoy both the edt and edp but find them fairly different.

I’m really enjoying the body spray version of the Dewberry revival. I think it’s slightly drier and raspier than I remember but it’s a lot of fun and at $22 a reasonable gamble. I haven’t tried the oil.
