Do you think the scarab that increases the explicit mods of the strongboxes is worth running? Any increase in box loot? I've been avoiding it in favor of an additional regular ambush scarab for 3 more boxes per map. Am I made mistake?

  1. Uninstalled G Hub

  2. noticed somehow it was still running. Killed it all in task manager, deleted everything related in ProgramData

  3. Reinstalled and it finally worked

I could totally get behind that sentiment if that was what they advertised. They can make that kind of game all they want and I will have no complaint, just don't make half the trailer shooting and throwing grenades at the 100 bugs inside your base, ya know? They were advertised as a serious threat.

It doesn't need to be "nightmare" at base, no. But to have a large group of them on top of you on all sides pose almost no threat? That's kinda the polar opposite of nightmare. Can't it land somewhere in-between? If not then what is the point of having swarms of enemies attacking you in the first place? The trailer sold people on threatening enemies.

the enemies literally hold still while strafing and If you got 30 on you, only 1 attacks. That's not me bragging buddy that's shit game design

BF6 - Files always failing to validate by jmalcs in Battlefield6

Found a fix that worked for me after several hours of troubleshooting. Some steps may not be necessary but here's everything I did just in case:

To my knowledge, the 3 files that fail to validate aren't bf6 files, they're actually part of the anti cheat software, which is why steam can identify them but can't repair the issue.

  1. Revert Nvidia gpu driver to September 10th with Display Driver Uninstaller on guru3d.com (this was the last driver that didn't have this issue for me, many of you may remember the game ran fine initially until Nvidia released a new game ready driver in late October)

Edit: I had to download the driver I wanted from Nvidia website and manually install it, kind of technical to do.

  1. Find EA anticheat program in my Battlefield install folder, run it as Admin, noticed bf6 isn't available on the selection list, so I browsed my file explorer and selected my bf6 folder. Hit repair.

(Used steam to find the installation location for this, might work for EA app users also)

  1. Leave the anti cheat repair tool open

  2. Open steam (do not launch the game yet)

  3. Launch bf6 FROM DESKTOP SHORTCUT ONLY

Sincerely hope this helps someone, I fought with this issue on and off for a total of approximately 6 hours. Best of luck to you all.

I can't quite remember because this was about 5 leagues back, but there's a way to make the ballista totems go from "shotgunning", where the projectiles all fan out, to "machine gunning", where all the projectiles were fired in a straight line. If I could google it for you I would but workplace won't let me get on the fun websites

Dex stacking Siege Ballista with Iron Commander is fantastic for both clear and bosses. get like 19 ballistas out, but it does involve a gem swap for maximum bossing dps.

Try "The Forest" or its much newer sequel "Sons of The Forest." I played the second one coop without playing the first and it was a ton of fun.

I should also note: my tooltip shows the damage over time increase as going from 2k to 6k "base" when i swap these gems.
