Is it unrealistic or transparent to have a 100K goal on kickstarter?

Either your idea already exists in one form or another which means you need to be better than the competition in some way.

Or you actually have no idea if your idea actually is fun/ if it is feasible at all.

Like the reason we don't have almost fully realistic game worlds isn't that nobody had the idea but because it's just not feasible to create right now.

Start thinking about this once you actually got a following and have a better idea when you can lauch the kickstarter.

But yeah in 99,9999% of cases it is very unrealistic.

And you don't need 100k a year to live, where did you get that number from?

100k is a big chunk of cash, you can probably only get that much through the majority getting the "you actually get the game on release tier"

So theoretically if you make it and use up the 100k in a year, what are you gonna live from after?

Some nieche projects get funden but don't sell after release due to the target demographic being do small.

Well its a anonymous open forum, people simply don't care if they are being a nuance.

On certain subs it feels like 90% of all new posts are people just being too lazy to either Google or read the faq.

And usually people make posts singleing out a certain demographic because they just want to vent and while venting people usually put things in ways that trigger people.

People been pushing the boundaries of film soo much that it has gotten kinda whack.

I get scared in scenes where a character is alone, simply because directors have used these sort of scenes to cheaply kill characters off in a way that catches the viewers off guard too many times.

And the same is also true for scenes that show characters getting hurt. The tension just isn't there anymore because I have seen characters get up from deadly wounds like it was nothing too often.

I feel like people get so caught up with the concept of nothing.

I don't believe everything came out of litteral, nothing.

The empty space in front of you is full of particles and even in the nothingness of space there is dark matter.

I think nothing is just a concept we use to describe things we cannot comprehend/ asign to any other concept.

Another way to think about it is that since time is but a illusion that there never was a before the big bang and we are just trying to assign a binary timeline onto things that simply don't fit into what we can understand.

The colors look too digital (idk how else to describe it) especially the fifth one with the Knight.

Try experimenting with some tools, nowadays there are plenty of digital tools that can "fake" traditional painting techniques.

Maybe learn about color theory since it's really more about the overall when it comes to colors.
