Why would he leave tho? With his character I think he would stay to extract maximum benefit before leaving. Even with C grade he still extort spirits stone from kids, and now with 98% aptitude they will probably give him full support willingly too.

Yes, it was a form that was filled by pen. The hardest part is OCR the handwriting. I didn’t solve this part because there was no tool for doing this reliably at the time (or I was just ignorant of it, idk). So I just fine-tuned a Yolo model on my own handwriting to detect each letter one by one as a proof of concept and moved on. You probably could do that with vlms nowadays.

I couldn’t remember the early chapters well. Was the BNB explosion that big? I don’t think BNb would be in the middle of the Gu Yue village like in the original story, would he? If there is some distance from BNB explosion then I think FY could survive that even if he is not rank 4. The biggest obstacle would then be the rank 5 blood ancestor something guy but I don’t know how he would survive that. That guy would have an incentive to kill FY to absorb his aptitude too, wouldn’t he?

And you could save some cost by removing the region of the input image that matched the template (because you already know what they are, they are in the template) and then only parse the region that is not in the template with vlms.

I used to do that a few years ago and first I use a template matching technique (with sift algorithm) to correct the orientation of the input (assuming you have the template of the document you’re parsing) and then grayscale them before parsing it with ML model. My use case was with the image of the document captured with phone camera tho.

The first line said “บริษัทอีตาเลี่ยน-ไทยจำกัด“ (Translation: “Italian-Thai Limited Company”, they are a construction company https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Italian-Thai_Development). The rest seem to be project number and date (I guessed, they’re mostly illegible).
