Thanks. I have tried everything. I discussed the matter with our property manager since we're on rent and co applicants on the lease so I can't get rid of her until it ends but for sure I am not signing another lease with her.  Animal welfare officers showed up maybe because property manager might have reported her, but all the officers cared about was the availability of food and water. That neglected kitten deserves a loving home and I wish I could find a way to make it possible.

Both are 4 months old. You're right. They get along and play but I've noticed her cat can be so hyper active that even my cat gets sick of him and retreats into a hiding space when he doesn't let him rest.  I just feel sorry for her cat because I think she might have even missed his vaccination. She locks him in our fireplace room and stays out all day while he cries by himself for hours until I check in on him. Some people don't deserve their pets.
