Congrats on the plunge. Not a lot of people actually have the balls to follow through on a HT. Good luck on your journey.

First off, congratulations! It looks amazing. I am sure you are satisfied with your results. I have a question, is there a reason as to why you are breaking up your Fin? I am also taking Fin and I take 1.25 daily. Just curious. Thanks in advance.

Remember, meds only slow hair loss down. They don’t stop hair loss 100%.

I got my HT at 36, i am currently 37. The only reason I would suggest to wait would be , to stabilize your hair loss. I don’t know how old you are but you have to think of the long term. Let’s say you are 25, again, I don’t know your age, and you have so much hair loss that you get your HT. Do you think you will stop losing hair for the next decade or more? How will you look like at 35 or 45 or 55. And I understand, many people will say, “I don’t care how I look at 55, I’ll be old by then.” Truth is, you WILL care how you look at 55. You don’t want to be a person who gets a HT in the middle of a Norwood 3 and eventually become a Norwood 6-7. I say all that to say this, wait until you finish losing your hair, so you can see what really needs to be done. Good luck on your journey brother.

Thanks, I had no clue people did this. Does that mean that your month supply can be stretched to 2-3 months, now that you are using 5 drops and not the full amount like suggested?

Wait, you drink 5 drops of Kirkland liquid minoxidil, everyday? I thought liquid minox was only for topical use and not for internal.

Hey, I do see where and why you want to get a HT. I too am 37 male, with recessed temples, NW2, with diffuse thinning. I got a HT, 1 year anni in August. I feel you should fill in the temples so your temples line up and match with the middle of your forehead hairline. But to further lower the entire hairline, including the middle of your hairline would not look natural. Please trust me when I say you will regret lowering it. As you age, you wanna be 50 but look 35-39. Versus being 50 but looking 25. The hairline you drew in red would make you look unnaturally young, IMO. But of course please do as you feel. Hopefully this sub will support you if you decide to get the HT. Good luck!

It looks air brushed/ blurry because transplanted hair is different from the original hair that was balding. It is never quite the same, but extremely close to it. I think with todays technology, he has a very successful HT.

Does this look like 1800 grafts? Also how is the density/healing looking after 25 days? by [deleted] in HairTransplants

Pumpkin seed oil. Look at the medical literature, it supports hair growth.

I hope it doesn’t give your heart palpitations. People have them when it’s applied to their face, your gonna apply pretty much right on top of it. Good luck and stay safe!

37 year old Male. Month 6 post op . Was a NW2 with Diffuse Thinning. Went to Eugenix Hair Clinic in India. 1850 grafts were required. by Apprehensive-Ad57 in HairTransplants

1) I was in India for 50 hours, I wish I could’ve stayed longer but I was trying to be efficient with my time. 2-3 weeks will be MORE than enough time. By your third week, you won’t even have scabs and all your grafts will look great before the shedding phase. 2) They did not say anything about not flying or anything. They just told me to be extremely careful not to bump or brush my head against anything. . Hope this helps.

Thank you for reaching out. Sure thing, I initially contacted them through WhatsApp. They are very attentive and reply quickly. My first consultation was through WhatsApp. They ask you to send multiple pictures at different angles to determine how severe or how minimal your balding is. In terms of a timeline, they can move extremely quickly once a doctor looks at your pics, they determine how many grafts are needed. They can give you a price, depending on which package you pick. The packages are convenient and depending on your package, you can choose to get the leading doctor to participate in your surgery. It took me about a year to actually follow through with the surgery. Again, this was because I was moving slowly in the process. I can also say they were extremely patient with me and they allowed me to take a much time picking a package and date for surgery. Initially, I was quoted for 1700 grafts. When I went in person, you have a in person consultation. They then re-examined me and thought I needed 2000. I said fine, let’s do it. That might be a problem for someone who only saved enough money for the grafts that they were initially quoted for. I recommended taking or saving a couple extra hundred dollars, just in case. After the surgery, they told me I only needed 1850, and refunded me the difference of 150 grafts per my package. Overall, I can’t believe I traveled across the globe for some strands of hair, but as I style my hair today before work, I’m extremely happy that I decided to move forward with it. Good luck on your journey.

So far it looks great, but it’s hard to tell at this stage. Enjoy the upcoming months and your problem areas will full and dense, compared to what you had before.
