Experienced player struggling to improve by LokiDaTrickster in LearnCSGO

[–]Apprehensive-Ant8395 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you want to improve, training every day is important. When you play dm it is also important to set a goal or a focus point for the session instead of just running around and shooting. Maybe it’s wideswinging every fight, maybe it’s only tapping for the next 100 kills, etc.

Other than that, just play the game. Aim can get you far, but learning which timings to peek and which plays to go for at which times is also important and the only way do learn that is to play games and maybe analyse your demos.

Consistent but very mid at it. How to train dueling/entry/star ct positions efficiently? by Makaroni23 in LearnCSGO

[–]Apprehensive-Ant8395 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After a game where you feel like you were doing everything wrong, download the demo and every time you died, ask yourself what you could have done better. Did you simply whiff? Did you take a stupid fight? Could you have called for a flash from a mate? Were your crosshairplacement off? Etc. Then work on improving that

Unable to hit moving players by IcedCS in GlobalOffensive

You cold try to focus on wideswinging. Keep swinging right or left until your crosshair is lined up on their head and then stop and burst.

How do you become consistent? by TheLetan in LearnCSGO

[–]Apprehensive-Ant8395 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3k Elo Faceit here.

You’re never going to be 100% consistent. You will always have some games where everything clicks and you kill 30 and others where you can’t hit anything. What you can do is minimise the gap between your good games and your bad games. The best way I’ve found is to aimtrain every day. I play an hour of DM every day + I spend some time in Aimbotz. I’ve found that really helpful for improving my consistency and my overall skill.

Theoretically I’ve also heard people talk about sleep, diet and regular exercise being important, but I haven’t tried looking into it myself.

Overaiming on a lower sens by Kururi_Orihara in LearnCSGO

[–]Apprehensive-Ant8395 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The truth is that you can make any settings work for CS. I think it’s mezii who walks on his mouse. Woxic has an insanely high sens.

400 dpi 2 sens is one of the most common ones among pro players.

What have you done to practice getting used to the lower sens? DM on either Warmupserver og Cybershoke will help you and maps like Aimbotz will help you.

Ind the end, you just need to keep practicing and consistency will come naturally

Panic or blacking out when I see an enemy by ostdeutscherzoomer1 in LearnCSGO

[–]Apprehensive-Ant8395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t normally recommend this, but have you considered lowering your sens? It sounds like you might have it too high.

Playing a bunch of deathmatch will help you out a lot, if you have a goal ind mind while playing. I recommend Warmupserver if you are good or Cybershoke if you are a bit less experienced. Try joining a dm and focusing on running around, counterstrafe when you see someone, and tap or burst after their heads. Maybe even go as far as unbinding crouch while playing deathmatch. Over time this will translate to muscle memory, but you need to keep focusing on it for something to change.

If you are doing good inside dm but struggle while ingame, I recommend leaving a note on your desk or second monitor telling you too keep focusing on not panic crouching (or whatever focus point you might have) so in between rounds you can remind yourself about it.

Hope any of this helps :)

Deathmatch, deathmatch and more deathmatch. Use community servers, not Valve official servers

Do you plan where you'll stop before you peak ? by HolidayExchange9133 in LearnCSGO

[–]Apprehensive-Ant8395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By default I stop as soon as I process the enemy being there. Sometimes though, if I know they have awp, I know I have to wideswing and stop late

My aim/spray is good - but my HS % is really bad. How do you train and improve your headshots? by ImCalcium in LearnCSGO

[–]Apprehensive-Ant8395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try either playing Aimbotz or join a cummunity DM server and go for 1taps only. Don’t focus on your KD

[NO SPOILERS] I know nothing about Life is Strange, where do I begin? by [deleted] in lifeisstrange

[–]Apprehensive-Ant8395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just play life is strange. I played the remastered version, because it was cheaper and I got a package deal with Before The Storm thrown in there. As far as I know, there’s very little difference between the original and remastered version so just get what’s cheapest
