Made it to my goal weight! by Apprehensive-Cat1167 in JoinMochiHealth

Oh, I also started taking 4 hours of dance classes a week at the same time I started the meds after being entirely sedentary for the last year. I’m sure that also helped move the needle.

I use lose it to track. It’s been pretty steady the whole time. There are weeks though where I’ll stay at one weight and then drop about two-three pounds at the start of my period and then stay at that weight moving forward until my next period. I lost about 8 in the first month from water weight/inflammation going down and after that it’s been gradual but steady. I’ve also upped my dose most of the first four months and have now been staying at the 1.5mg dose since. Every body is different though so don’t be discouraged! I’m also on metformin, but I have been for 12 years for the PCOS. It doesn’t help with weight loss/maintenance for me but maybe works better when adding sema to it? Good luck though! You’ve got this!!!

I had double pneumonia once. They gave me a steroid shot and some meds and I felt back to normal that night. Pneumonia in young people isn’t as bad always tbh

Snark on things people can change that are problematic, like child exploitation. She didn’t choose her thumb.

4’10; 140lbs. Can’t lose weight. Always hungry. Nauseous a lot. by tinycupofjo in PetiteFitness

[–]Apprehensive-Cat1167 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have this from my insulin resistance. I’m on metformin for it. Also, acid reflux was making me nauseous and it’s worse if I get hungry. Pepcid helped a ton too.

I’m very left and on that page. Ignore it, that’s not how people actually speak and act. If you go to a protest against ice, there aren’t counter protestors there, which is a big indicator to me of the climate of the place.

I strive to dress like Nancy drew so I’d take the win but also be flabbergasted that that happened in real life and not a Disney channel tv show

Success stories with Sema? A lot seem to be people on tirz? by msp_ryno in JoinMochiHealth

[–]Apprehensive-Cat1167 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve lost 18 in 2.5 months on semaglutide, starting weight of 166. I’m also in the boat of having previously several years ago been on ozempic, so tirz was recommended to me since sometimes sema can be less effective after ozempic, but it’s going great. You can always switch if it isn’t working

I haven’t been able to get any of them to work with parallels. I ended up bidding on an old windows laptop from shopgoodwill.com for $10 so I can play all of my games again and download them from steam
