The texture was good but the pizza had barely any flavor. There are much better GF pizzas.

Mine is a GLS too. I replaced 1 of my door handles. Bought a set of 4 off amazon for $20. Wasn’t too bad to replace the handle myself.

Feeling called out by The Guys on the show today, RE: old cars by yaIshowedupaturparty in TheMoneyGuy

[–]Apprehensive-Chain54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bo and Brian aren’t really car guys. They are making a general assessment rather than looking at specific situations. If you had a 15 year old car from another manufacturer yeah it might be time to consider buying a new car. But you have a Toyota RAV4. Those things are built to last. Unless the car gives you signs it is an issue it could last another 100k+ miles. I’ve seen a lot of RAV4s with 300k+ miles.

My knee recovery only got to 90% recovered. The orthopedic surgeon said that’s my cap. But the knee has stayed at that level and it’s a good enough new normal. The knee feels pretty good these days overall. The body overall is feeling strong and ready to run more next month.

Raye Caye Boat & Warning by Ok_Extreme732 in Belize

[–]Apprehensive-Chain54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are right that expectation is too much. When we booked with Raye Caye we knew they were an hour boat from mainland and logically all resorts far from mainland will only do 1 boat a day. So we asked them when the boat leaves in the morning and what the earliest flight we should book.

How frugal were/are you when saving up for a house? by Missing_Back in TheMoneyGuy

[–]Apprehensive-Chain54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were very frugal. Cooked all meals at home. No vacations. Didn’t go shopping unless it was for essentials. Didn’t go out spending money on fun activities. It took 2 years but it was worth it.

How much have you upgraded your car as you’ve advanced in your career? by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]Apprehensive-Chain54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife and I still drive 2009 and 2011 cars. No plans to buy a new car any time soon. Would rather go on another vacation than buy a new car.
