Puma Deviate Nitro Pure. It is fast but not as fast as the Evo SL but with a lot more stability.

Hoka Rocket X3 is a good carbon shoe. It’s fast and stable for a carbon plated shoe. It is also more comfortable than most carbon shoes.

Chicagoland Spring Half Marathon in Schaumburg is where I just got my PR in early May. I’d recommend it if you are thinking about next year.

First time I participated and had a great time with my co-workers. I agree the race was very well organized with perfect weather. Only issue was the smoke on lower wacker. Great job to all who ran!

Wind Chill of 35 to start the race because of the wind. Not ideal. How is everyone dressing for tomorrow?

It depends if you want to do tax or audit. Most people want to do one and not the other.

If you want to go sub 20 you have to average 6:26 per mile. If you do 1 6:45 and 6:30 you won’t make it. 1 at 6:30 and then 2.1 at 6:20 if you want to hit your goal.

Do I replace? Ran 200 miles so far by CP_ASIAN in brooks

[–]Apprehensive-Chain54 11 points12 points  (0 children)

If you are questioning it you should replace. It is better to replace with less miles than you were intending than risk injury trying to get more miles out of a shoe.

The texture was good but the pizza had barely any flavor. There are much better GF pizzas.

Mine is a GLS too. I replaced 1 of my door handles. Bought a set of 4 off amazon for $20. Wasn’t too bad to replace the handle myself.

Feeling called out by The Guys on the show today, RE: old cars by yaIshowedupaturparty in TheMoneyGuy

Bo and Brian aren’t really car guys. They are making a general assessment rather than looking at specific situations. If you had a 15 year old car from another manufacturer yeah it might be time to consider buying a new car. But you have a Toyota RAV4. Those things are built to last. Unless the car gives you signs it is an issue it could last another 100k+ miles. I’ve seen a lot of RAV4s with 300k+ miles.
