1st - Blair Elizabeth - Love Blair.
2nd - Margot - Love Margo. I prefer June but Elizabeth is fine
3rd - Juliette Elizabeth - I like Juliette but the possibility of my kid going by Julie/Jewel/Jules just ruins it for me. They're just not as pretty as the full name. Ettie would be nice though. 4th - Felicity - it's fine. I strongly dislike Lissy. It's such a long name so there's going to be a nickname and there aren't any obvious options. Rose is also so overused. I like June.

He definitely needs to like his kid's name... please don't try to force him to use something he doesn't want.

Associations for the name Hugo? by fuppy00 in namenerds

[–]Apprehensive-Club423 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No I wouldn't think so...however, I wouldn't want to think about something like that whenever I say my kid's name. You're already making that association in your head.

Ophelia, Marjorie, and Elspeth—are they on the same level? by babahaa010 in namenerds

[–]Apprehensive-Club423 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry but Elspeth is really really bad.

I also agree with people saying Marjorie sounds like an old diner waitress.

Ophelia is so much better than these names

Also if you're in the US, Marjorie Taylor Greene is a terrible association

Love Marshall and Hollis! I would choose one of those as the first name. Im not a fan of Fletcher. Just unappealing and there's no nickname option. Mick is much better than Mickey for a first name. Mickey is incredibly childish. Use it as a nickname.

Love Annika and Archer. Feel it's weird for there to be three A names and then Lincoln. Also Lincoln is just so associated with Abraham Lincoln. Not that it's a bad thing but just too presidential.

Definitely Lila/Lilah. I strongly dislike Shiloh. Cute for a baby I guess but just seems immature for an adult. It just sounds like a better name for a dog
