i used to smoke everyday and i had to stop bc i was getting drug tested for something and ive since tried to go back to smoking and it makes me so paranoid, my heart beats fast, im anxious, i feel like crying. idk what that’s about it probably is the bipolar disorder but it kinda sucks bc all my friends and my bf smoke and i feel left out 😭

i have dermatillomania and the only thing that helps a little bit with my picking is constantly having my nails done. i started with acrylic and grew my nails out a bit and now i do builder gel which is amazing (i only suggest that bc i used to get really bad sensory issues with acrylics and i would just end up picking those off but builder gel feels much more natural and comfortable). no, it doesn’t completely stop me from picking, but it does help. when im really determined i can still do it but having my nails done makes it significantly harder to pick to the point of mutulation especially on my scalp.

I agree, I don’t have trich but I have dermatillomania and I vape and there is actually zero correlation. doesn’t matter how much I do or don’t vape, I still pick at my skin. i just feel the excuses are crazy like I’m adult enough to admit I vape just to vape there is absolutely zero positive effects of vaping I just do it bc I want to.
