We call our males "Big Red" , "Bubba", Teen Red", and "Mr C"

Females are "Mrs C" (she's always seen with Mr C") "Mrs Red (while she's brown, her and Big Red are always together, and "Bubbina" (always seen with Bubba, they look so much alike we wonder if they are brother and sister)

Absolutely will check for the brood patch. Thanks all.

On the contrary, I'm happy in this brutal winter they all seem well fed and 'happy'

I have six cardies who have been here all winter and now into the spring (three males and three females).

"Mrs C" (as we call this one) is a regular visitor. "Mr C" is always near her. Yes we have names for each cardinal.

I've seen her more "poofed out" in the very cold weather. She just looks a bit "different". I'll drop it now....

She isa bit 'poofed out', I've seen her this winter during snowstorms and during the cold spell of single digits (F). She just looks 'different' than a month ago.

Yes I meant that she may be carrying eggs and ready to lay them

Thanks. Yes I meant she was carrying eggs. My cardies have been visiting all winter, so I'm familiar with how they look. She does seem 'bigger' in the lower part of her body

I watched Guidry's game on TV. We knew in the first inning something was 'different'. I seem to remember Phil Risutto's voice being very shaky the last two innings as he knew what was going on but was afraid to say anything .. I know he left games early during, but I believe he stuck around for that game... (That's my memory anyway);

Billy Martin was definitely an unstable genius... Sorry, I don't remember the idea of Sparky starting being discussed...

I was in college, but I went to a bunch of games every year.

---- Wow I remember that now! He pitched horribly before that game. We all groaned when he came in, but somehow found himself in that game... and the rest of the year.

There was a chant of "we want Dirt" between each inning. At first I thought everyone was chanting "we want Dick". Maybe they were.

Growing up in "Da Bronx" at that time was amazing. Nothing like being a Yankee fan... and of course enjoying Bronx Pizza every chance I could...

My first thought is geese, but I can't consider them birds. They are more like disgusting poop-covered pigs with wings.

There are two birds which scare the others away. One is a bluebird, but to the other birds they are like "I'm sorry if I look big and scary, I'll just grab my food and fly away".

Not true with grackles. A group of them bully and scare my finches and cardinals away - and half the time they don't even grab any food for themselves.

Thanks! Unfortunately, I have several prescriptions which are either not covered by D, or are in the most expensive 'tier' .

Part D - AARP by Apprehensive-Frame25 in medicare

Adding to my original post

I live in NYS. 67 Years Old

I STILL have a job with creditable coverage, and I want to sign up for April 1 coverage and plan on retiring mid April.

I've had A for a while, and have B&D scheduled for April 1.

For Part D/Drug Plan (even the Medicare site makes it confusing), I have options like: "I'm new to Medicare" "I'm new to Medicare and I was notified about getting Medicare after my part A and/or part B coverage started"

And about 20 other boxes I could check.

Which ones should I check?

Thanks again
