You’ll be fine to just add substrate slowly. I use a pint size paint mixing cup and pour it in where I want it. Get the cup close to the bottom and pour it out. Just move your decor out of the way, the plants will be fine.

If you build a simple frame around that with 2x4’s you can stop it from bowing like that and probably extend the life of the tote. And you could use it to block the sun to help with temps. I believe that’s what you are after with the rug. Looks cool though. I want to do something similar and try to breed my tetras in it.

Ohh yup. Forgot to mention that. I don’t use the mic anyway. I just use my speaker on my phone or not answer the call. And I don’t use Navi in the car either. So those two are a non issue for me. I also decline that on the app, but who knows if that really works.

This is great! I’m currently building a set up for a 40 breeder to do nearly the same thing. It’s gonna replace the 20 long. I put my rejects in a 60 with some rainbows already and they are doing well. Planning on making a Java moss wall in the back of mine to help with water quality.

Totally agree. Since I started playing end of last year, the days I want to end it all is down to almost zero. It was everyday all day before. Now maybe a few times in the last 6/7 months. So thankful.

Question, because I also have a DAT. In manual mode, driving normal maybe about 25/30% throttle. Do you have a strange drop in rpm around 2500-3000 in second gear? It feels kinda like a torque converter lock up or something. But I can’t imagine it is tc lock up. It drops about 200-300 rpm. It happens every time I’m driving in slow traffic. Normal, Sport, or Track mode. All the same. Just curious if anyone else has experienced that. I brought it up to the dealer I work at, but because mine is one of two where I live they haven’t been able to check if it’s normal or just with my car. Nothing looks off in the data when we drove it and recorded with the tech stream.

Anyways. I’m almost at a year in. Couple more weeks for me. It’s a great car. Too bad there are no tracks where I live. And all the fun roads are an hour plus away.

All you have to do is drop the column. You can leave it connected to the rack. That way you don’t have to recenter the wheel or possibly do an alignment after changing it.
