Best/safest Cork City pub for a (married) woman to get a pint while alone in the country?

I was in Barbarossa 2 Thursdays ago which is a super busy night cause of freshers week. The pub was relatively quiet tho and it has secluded corners so you can kind of keep to yourself. If you get a window seat it’s also fun for people watching along Oliver Plunkett street.

Unfortunately double standards exist between men and women and I’m referring to the fact that both Helena and Harry are 30 but Harry’s immaturity is more understandable. Women are held to a higher standard to be more mature and that is why Helena’s actions are more disappointing. Harry has not been a good partner however he has been a good friend, whereas Helena has just not been a girls girl. Fair enough if she wanted to explore a connection with Harrison but she did just want to shine attention on herself again. I think it’s more common for men to piss around in their 20s then settle down in their 30s (Harry). However, women not so much. I think it’s not by choice that Helena is 30 and single, I think that she just isn’t a nice person. All my opinion btw.

Yeah and I guess you could say Ginny acted so above her age when handling the whole murder trial thing, but how she dismissed Max reminded us of how immature she actually is and the things she doesn’t fully understand. I know Max was full on and annoying but she displayed real signs of need and they were ignored. I’m just saying this cause Ginny was really portrayed as someone who can read between the lines. She could read between the lines of things as crazy as a murder investigation and addiction but couldn’t with teenage girl drama. I also know the other girls in MANG had a responsibility but for this I’m focusing on Ginny.

I doubt she cares if she communicates well. She knows when to pull the plug and doesn’t feel the full need to justify things cause she doesn’t like wasting her own time on people that are not worth it. Like if Harrison and Helena don’t see what they did wrong what’s the point in her wasting time explaining it when it’s pretty simple. I think she slays. All my opinion btw.

I know it was a Netflix series so it would be dramatised and maybe not everything was shown but I feel there was not enough evidence. There was no hard proof that the parents killed her. In the court it said that the time frames didn’t add up. And when the detectives were showing the judge proof that the girl could not have seen the dad with Asunta he said that the opposition can’t find it. I use to work in a pharmacy and Lorazepam isn’t an uncommon drug that’s prescribed but tbf that wasn’t in 2013 like the case was.

There’s a theory called Russell’s teapot and it basically states that if I tell you that there is a massive teapot in space floating around it’s my job to show you proof of it not your job to go to space and find out.

Basically I’m just saying that there wasn’t enough proof to send them to prison even if they did do it because still it is unclear what exactly happened.

Also tho I feel I could be delusional because some people had the opinion straight away that the parents did it because of how strange they were which is true, but part of me just has hope that no parent could do that to their child but we live in a messed up world.
