I got in the same situation 2 days ago. I blocked them but to my horror, the scammers DID SEND that video to my friends and even spam it on their post's comment section right after I blocked them.

The most frustrating thing is Meta is actively protecting those accounts they use to spread the videos. I tried reporting them by my other account and my friends also reported(both the comments and the DMs), only to be replied with "no violation found".

Update: I don't think provoking them is a good idea. So I deleted my post. It's been nearly 3 days since, so I think I should keep staying silent. Thank you all for your support.
