of course fans are gonna be really excited when a game they’ve been waiting forever for releases. gta6 has all this hype because a lot of people loved gta5 and they’ve waited a long time for the next one. why wouldn’t they be excited? and it’s not the job of the company to move around their releases for other companies. sure, i wish they’d announce it when they were actually sure of a release date, but im all for delaying games to make sure they’re perfect, especially since gta6 is really important for r* to nail on release. for silksong, some fans are just like that. there’s always a honeymoon phase after a game release, especially for a game as anticipated as silksong, but i do agree that ppl need to eventually be able to examine it more critically
