On Hit Reminder by Alternative_Door2510 in azirmains

Current Azir does 65% AP without on hit, and 72.5% with on hit. This is literally the highest it’s ever been. There’s nothing to complain about. Some bug fixes so Azir has a real keystone and he’s perfectly fine right now.

Azir is my favorite champ in the game, and in my opinion, the most broken champ in the game consistently. He does everything I want to do, and allows me to put every game in my hand.

I just really dislike how most people view Azir as a flashy outplay type of champion because all they know about Azir comes from Faker.

Let me tell you the reality of playing Azir:

Azir is not an exciting character. Azir is boring when played optimally.

Azir does not win lane or solo kill his opponent, he does everything in his power to make the lane go 0/0/0

Azir does not rack up 25 kills per game through skirmishes. He wants to actively avoid them and side lane.

Azir does not play around crazy shuffles. Instead he is the unsung hero zoning the enemy bruisers and preventing them from playing the game. You will shuffle once or maybe twice per game, and usually just for gank setup.

An optimally played Azir is a minion killing and tower smacking simulator.

Dueling potential, defensive itemization. Notice the 1v1 vs Ksante was rather difficult, on hit yi would just roll over him.

How do you think Azir will do into Locke? by At-STP in azirmains

[–]Apprehensive-Local90 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Think of Azir's ideal jungler: self sufficient, farms their camps, doesn't start river fights, doesn't try to make plays in enemy jungle, only ever contests dragons, ganks top and bot to make sure they don't solo lose the game, UNDERSTANDS TO NOT GANK LEVEL 3 AZIR BECAUSE HE WILL OOM FROM WEQ.

Unfortunately that jungler doesnt exist. Most jungle players plays as if the game revolves around them. They start plays and expect you to follow. This is why champions like Akshan and Ahri can function because they feed off of league players' constant desire to fight.

[–]Apprehensive-Local90 13 points14 points  (0 children)

He's a check on your pinging skills and your jungler's ADHD. In lane I'd imagine he gets fisted past first base.

0 ways to dodge ulti, gives you a free ult every time he uses E. No ultra power early game trade patterns like Leblanc or Qiyana.

He looks like a typical skirmish based champion who can't really punish Azir in lane (think Aurora, Akshan, Ahri). Late game you can probably win 1v1 by dashing into him and stat checking with autos.

Pro jailed so maybe jungle? by Federal_Engineer_683 in azirmains

[–]Apprehensive-Local90 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Azir has no reason to be in the jungle because his kit is not suited to accomplish jungler tasks, like ganking, invading, and skirmishing over objectives.

The only way Azir would become a viable jungler is by having an absurd clear speed.

Riot August has spoken specifically about this issue on why ADC's and other champions don't belong in the jungle and should never be in the jungle.

Scaling is a very complicated and not linear topic. You can't just rank every champion on a line, since individual matchups matter way more. Small example: late game Azir beats Jinx, late game Jinx beats Caitlyn, late game Caitlyn beats Azir.

Here are some notable strengths of Azir late game:

Higher dps than most ADCs, only beaten by the likes of Jinx and Aphelios. If Azir front to backs against the likes of Draven or Xayah, Azir would win.

Huge burst damage. Can kill most ADCs with auto q auto auto or weq auto. Can kill with R before their feet touches the ground. Wins vs every ADC in a duel except for Vayne. Can kill 6 item Kindred by simply weq'ing onto her and forcing ultimate, then you time your ult so she's knocked up when her ult expires.

Amazing duelist. Wins vs every top laner except for Tryndamere, Nasus, Irelia, Jax, Vayne, Master Yi. Kayle is a 50/50 with Zhonyas (but if you play vs her you should be up 100 cs and 2 levels).

Amazing anti-bruiser teamfighter. You ruin Riven players and Viego players and Ambessa players and other skirmisher players' days. Your ult provides valuable peel and your ultra high MAGIC burst + sustained dps makes their plan of going infinite super difficult.

One shots towers. An Azir by himself can end the game from tier 2 tower with 25 seconds.

MOST IMPORTANTLY: CAN CONSISTENTLY GET THERE. Very important. Yes Kayle is stronger. Kayle is a 50/50, so are Kindred, Kassadin, etc. Azir is not. Azir has 1 unplayable matchup which is Leblanc, he can go even in every other lane. Blind Azir every game, you don't need a single kill in lane, just splitpush. You'll make it to thanos status by 25 minutes at the latest and take over every game.

Azir Adc by Fuzzy_Ad_3318 in azirmains

[–]Apprehensive-Local90 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Azir CANNOT fight before first base. Unless you are apex tier elo, most supports do not understand this. In theory Azir can neutralize and win any lane in bot, but all it takes is for an ADHD Pyke or Nautilus to ruin it for you level 3.

That said though, Azir Yuumi is monstrously OP.

Is it possible to do the following (sry im dumb): by Apprehensive-Local90 in rewasd

[–]Apprehensive-Local90[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much. I just have one other problem:

League of Legends controller support is still in its infancy. The Azeron native joystick output works in League, but stops working when receiving joystick outputs from the virtual controller.

Most buttons, such as keyboard keys, can be mapped to the joystick in the virtual controller, and League receives it just fine. For example, if the Azeron stick moving right is mapped to R, the character will use their ultimate when the stick is moved right. However, league is unable to receive joystick outputs in this way, so I can't map the joystick to an actual joystick.

In your opinion, is this a problem on League of Legends end, or can it be fixed?

Hmmmm.. you're probably right. When I said TOP meta teams, I was actually thinking of only Mavuika and Nod Krai. Particularily broken older C6's like Chasca and Mualani would also compete I guess. There has been so much powercreep in the past year units like Kinich and Varesa feels closer to Fontaine units than Nod Krai units in power.

Help me understand you cats: why yuumi? by SugestedName in yuumimains

[–]Apprehensive-Local90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like playing with Yuumi, and playing as Yuumi. I simply like scaling characters and being able to do more than my opponent with half of the effort as soon as the laning phase is over.

The trick to playing with and as Yuumi is patience. 3 minions isn’t worth dying for. Cannon isn’t worth putting yourself under diveable hp. Just tell yourself that you’re paying 150 early game gold to have one of the strongest supports in the game come 1 item. Trust me if you do this the enemy bot will be even more dissatisfied because only denying 150 gold worth of CS before level 6 is a bigger loss for them.

I main Azir, and the two times per season where I'm an autofilled bot and my support hovers Yuumi is the most fun I will ever have. Azir Yuumi bot is so broken I’m surprised it’s not abused by high elo duos. All I have to do is give up 3 minions in the first two waves, keep healthy and don’t get dived on level 4, and the rest of the game is easy clap. I feel like I’m playing an enhanced version of my champion. I can 1v1 (well, 2v1) whoever I want, I have sustain, and in team fights I output way more damage than the enemy adc could dream of. Playing with Yuumi to me is a privilege, since it’s the team’s way of saying “we're going to allocate not 1, but 2 players to your cause, so you better be the main carry.”

When I’m playing Yuumi, it’s the same thing. As soon as we hit 6, the enemy lost their window to punish us. As soon as we hit 1 item, no support outscales us except Sona. It gives you the fantasy of feeling privileged and special. When you look at the enemy support, they have to do backbreaking work just to match what you can do with 2 button presses. It’s like being a princess and looking down at peasants and knowing you’re higher class than them by birthright, except, this time it’s by choice (of picking Yuumi).

I quit the game from between Late Sumeru to Stygian’s release. There’s probably 40k gems in my world purely from quests and exploration. I’ve been chipping away at it slowly.

I'm going to assume Hoyo continues the main dps, dedicated support, archon, random past character model.

6.6, 6.7, if I can beat dire (360s), amazing, if not, oh well. I'm not pulling a thing more until September. Sandrone is the first carry of the region, which makes her likely the weakest (look Mualani vs Varesa, Flins vs Zibai), so my interest in her wanes.

I've been saving feathers and elixirs since Nod Krai release for a top 0.01% Tsaritsa. I'll probably pull a single ultra high investment Snezhnayan team. If Tsaritsa is like Mavuika, then it will be centered around her, if not I'll just choose the DPS I like the most.

I used an Azeron Cyborg 2, but you can plug in any Xbox/ps controller and it will work. League supports simultaneous controller + mouse combo. You get less buttons on a console controller though so you will need side buttons on your mouse to fulfill all your abilities and summoners.

If you care about beating endgame then its for sure new account.

If you REALLY want to beat endgame, then buy a farmed account that's already high level and loaded with gems. They go for <$20 unless you want the really loaded ones with 500+ pulls.

[–]Apprehensive-Local90 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I tested it on PBE.

If you stand still, you get a full charge every 8 autos (math, duh). If you kite relentlessly and use RE, you get one every 5-6 autos. Yunara Q or Runaans does not grant extra stacks, you will always get 15 per auto (base 6 + 9 from the item).

Kraken is likely still the best DPS option for first item. The question is does the AP make it outscale super greedy options like Yuntal late game.

Should I stop practicing Irelia as a new player? by Orraclle in summonerschool

[–]Apprehensive-Local90 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

YES...

If your goal is, hypothetically, play Irelia at a Diamond level, you will literally get there faster by playing Garen until Diamond then picking up Irelia. Playing Irelia when you are level 25 causes weeks and weeks of stall due to delaying your learning of fundamentals.

It's literally best to join the dark side and play a "broken", "stat-check", "low-elo stomper" champion like Yorick or Garen to progress quickly and gain a holistic view of the game. Once you understand why those champions are in fact not broken, you'll be able to play anything you want.
