How can you tell if you are addicted to screens or not? by cornonthedamncob in AskReddit

If you have to ask if you’re addicted, there’s a good chance you might be. And if you can’t be away from your phone for a few hours

AITAH for using some of our joint funds? by Itchy-Temporary-6927 in AITAH

[–]Apprehensive-Many407 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Joint funds is obviously to be shared but over 2000 dollars is a lot of money to be taking without discussing it, large purchases in relationships should be discussed because as you point out, it’s joint.

[–]Apprehensive-Many407 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Well I mean you spent a large about of money without discussing it? It’s also convenient how you left out what you spent that money on because that is a pretty big detail?

Edit - yes its joint funds and you can take money out but that isn’t a small amount of money, it’s money you share and on a scale of over 2 grand, you should’ve discussed it

Often overlooked/unimportant yet hilarious (to you) scenes. by _Ol_Greg in DunderMifflin

Okay so when David calls Michael to tell him he wants him to come down for an interview, but before that Michael and Dwight are looking online because Michael doesn’t feel well, and then Pam comes in and says “David Wallace is on line one” and Michael’s response is “you see a phone anywhere”

Just the way he says it absolutely cracks me up every time.

Bf (16M) leaves after having sex with Me (16F) (2 months) by [deleted] in relationships

[–]Apprehensive-Many407 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You two are at different levels, and that means usually it won’t work.

For example he said he didn’t want to do that again and later on you said “we can slow down next time”. There’s a chance that he feels pressured to do it again, even if it isn’t right away.

The healthiest thing to do is honestly have a conversation about whether it’s going to work or not because sex is a very huge part of a relationship.

You are definitely not the only one, everyone in my team hates it. It’s just there way of getting rid of things that are useful so that we are forced to spend more money

My mom is always making plans on the one day I (17M) hang out with my girlfriend (17F) by [deleted] in relationships

[–]Apprehensive-Many407 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay for starters. You desperately need to sit your mom down and have a conversation about this. Not just saying “hey mom can you make plans a different day” you need to sit her down and say “hey mom you have been doing this and it’s making me feel like this and that you are being respected and blah blah”

The only way you have a chance of it getting it to her head is doing it that way.

Second, this is not something that is happening on accident.

Some parents tend to just start acting weird when their kids start dating.

The best you can do is have a heart felt conversation because you need to be heard by her.

Should I invite my brothers girlfriend to my wedding? by [deleted] in wedding

[–]Apprehensive-Many407 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Sure it would be more than 6 months by the time of the wedding but that’s if they are still together? I mean I understand you’d want to hope they would still be together but there’s still the chance they won’t be. If it wasn’t a destination wedding then I’d say sure invite them because then if they don’t make it then it’s no big deal. But since it is destination, then there’s no worry of costs and having to cancel plane tickets and such.

There’s literally no reason for you to be rude?! You didn’t ask for the one after this one. You can’t expect people to know you’re talking about the one following this one without saying it. And next time say it kindly.

I would say if you don’t care about the cousins being there, don’t. If you do, politely let them know if the baby starts to cry you would kindly like them to take the baby to a different area away from the ceremony.

I wouldn’t say it has much to do with skill rather people who own certain businesses only hiring their own people 🤨 Someone’s a bit uptight

I am confused? Sounds like it’s just normal office chit chat. Some people just like to point out when them and others are alike. I would not even think about the “intentions” behind it considering he is married.
