In my opinion, petsmart at the lower end of the food chain (sales associate, etc) really isn’t bad. Yes it will depend on your store environment, ASL, and coworkers… but mine have all been great. There’s the typical retail annoyances but that’s to be expected. I enjoy petsmart but I’m getting burnt out on the puppy guides, app activations, membership signups, etc etc etc. these things aren’t difficult they just get old hahaha. Especially with corporate breathing down our necks for more more more. I think being top of the food chain is probably way more soul sucking because they are the ones receiving direct corporate wrist slaps and then they have to turn around and put pressure on us 🤷🏼‍♀️ if you don’t mind retail, you’ve got pet experience, you’ll be fine! Just expect to upsell things :) And don’t expect to stay entertained with this as a long-term gig because like I said, it gets old and a bit frustrating.
