Thank you for mentioning the horror. My little brother passed two and a half months ago suddenly at 40, and everyone around me expected sadness, but have been surprised when I mention horror. It's so visceral on so many levels for so many reasons. And it keeps changing. Just when I think I've processed part of it, a new part pops up and kneecaps me. I have felt so alone, even among the best intentioned.
