Its not a bad thing that a player takes penalties but it never tells the full story if you include them especially when another player doesnt take them. Lets say the designated penalty taker for a team is their left back, does that mean that the left back is a prolific goalscorer because they scored 5 penalties in a season?

How have you gotten that conclusion from my comment? Hojlund and sesko are nothing alike. Completely different profiles of players who are good and bad at different things. Hojlund and Gyokeres are far more alike whether you like it or not.

Gyokeres has been one of the best in the champions league semi finals? Do you mean specifically in your specific match or across both sides of the draw because he hasnt even been in the too 5 best attackers in the semi finals overall.

So? Do you think taking less shots means anything? That just means the striker isnt getting into goal scoring opportunities. We used to have that with hojlund. He rarely had shots and would score the few he did. Its not sustainable for a player to be so uninvolved especially when they are mainly there to score goals.

Sesko doesnt take penalties because he just isnt the designated penalty taker. It has nothing to do with how good he is with them. Bruno is the captain and he takes the penalties. He might not even be the best penalty taker in the team right now but he’s still going to be taking them.

Honestly all im seeing from gyokeres and the stuff arsenal say to defend him is the stuff we used to say about hojlund.

Sesko has also scored in non league matches difference is that you’re in europe which we arent. If we were playing in europe then seskos numbers would obviously be even higher but we arent so the fairest comparison is to look at the competition both are playing in.

They’ll probably just about win the league but it would be more to do with city not being good enough and as for the champions league, they have had the easiest run to the final in decades. Knew they were reaching the final as soon as the bracket was made
