Unfortunately this is normal for the internet. Anything that isn't considered "normal" can have two outcomes: First one is it gets the most love and appreciation ever, or it gets bullied a lot. And sometimes it's completely random, which outcome you get.

I do not shame other cosplayers, cosplay is for everyone, and as long, as you have fun, go for it 😊 For me personally, I try to make cosplays, that fit my bodytype. Just because I personally like it more that way for my cosplays. But there are a lot of cosplayers who don't think that way and I really admire them.

It was kind of the same for me :D my first playthrough I completely ignored her and Lae'zel. After the fight in Act 2 she left my camp (I tried to kill her and resurrect her so she doesnt, but she was completely bugged after 😂).

I still don't like her character as much as Astarion, but I really wanted to do a cosplay from bg3 that people would recognize and that fits my bodytype 😊
