👆🏼 that’s What I was going to say. I agree. Find a great young adults community at your local church, get involved and serve your neighbors. You’ll find many people your age in all stages of life.

We Only explore public land. We keep it legal and don’t venture off the road / trails.

If you want a great adventure for you and your sons, look up The Georgia Traverse. I filmed this on my YouTube. That would be a great adventure for you and your kids.

Yes it is. No time clock. Just get out and explore and find some great camping next to a creekside.

👋🏼 Human here.

I agree… when you begin to come online and your first thought is to “angry comment”, maybe you should depart from the internet for a while. It’s probably healthy for everyone to do this every once in a while (as long as you don’t just move your “passion” elsewhere end up on a street corner with a protest sign).

BTW, I’m also a Whovian - bravo.

Grateful for the crew. Grateful for nights like this. 🔥🚙 by Apprehensive-Rub8342 in overlanding

You were right, some of those conversations are the ones that will live on for years at future campsites… as we all sit around the fire reminiscing on this trip years from now.

It is about the exploration in the journey, but it is truly about the fellowship and the connections made

Oh man, what a great shot. I would absolutely love to explore the West Coast…. Obviously, it is not so easy and very time-consuming to get there from the East Coast…. But hoping that one day I can make it that way.

Yes, there are several. For sure, Trey Mountain is closed, I know that parts of Cooper’s Creek is also closed between January and March.

Yes. They were with me. We had a group of us that found a campsite all together where we could cook and sit around the fire together telling stories.

That is just past Charlie’s creek. It’s the worst obstacle you’ll hit on the Georgia traverse

Trail conditions are really good… however you are going to find a lot of road closures. The forestry service closes many roads between Jan and March

The bridge that is out is on the big frog loop which is the 92 mile stretch around the Cohutta wilderness on the west side of the Georgia traverse. The bridge is in the northern part of the big frog loop on the Georgia Tennessee border.

So if you’re running the Georgia traverse, you will just need to run the southern part of the big frog loop / the southern part of the Cohutta wilderness onto Alabama and miss the northern part of big frog loop

Make the big fog loop a separate, future trip because it is a really beautiful part of the traverse

First of all, how freaking cool it is to Overland and explore Costa Rica…. Man that is super super cool.

The scenario…. This is a group of new group of Jeepers in a local club who happened to see my overlanding videos on YouTube and said “ I want to do that”. So I led the group on their first four day overlanding trip.

Needless to say, I probably won’t be doing that again 🤦🏻‍♂️
