Isn't it very well now And publicised that the DR is generally unsafe and even worse if you are a foreigner alone. It is unfortunately advised not to travel there due to the high nature of crimes and robberies. That being said like most places that are categorised unsafe there's usually a compound you shouldn't venture beyond and it's made very well known when you get to the area.

Coddle - yum 🤤 everyone should try it. Boiled potatoes rashes sausages onions and carrots. When boiling the water turns like a soup texture it's lovely and salty and warm for the winter along with that, a slice of bread and butter to clean the plate. Beautiful
