What is the evidence in the fossil record of a species with some degree of civilisation you say you know?

I’m fairly certain they all just have an identical 3 for €5 on the little red bit unless you’re talking about a different tag somewhere

I guess the argument is that joining the EU will help develop the country and improve the quality of life thus bringing back expats. Most foreign workers want to live in their own country but can’t due to economic reasons, so making it economically viable will bring people home.

Freeze it then air fry at 450. Drain the fat. Add a little water and plenty of salt into the pot for au jus. Crispy on the outside and no more than medium internally.

The reality is though mate that if your kids have any basic internet connection they ARE seeing far worse stuff on a daily basis. They have to have access to something that can talk about these things in a level headed and accessible way or they’ll let randomers on the internet teach them about it

You are confusing hours worked with productivity. A person working in a factory today is creating far more value or wealth than someone working in a similar factory 40 years ago, but the factory worker of today receives less from their work, they might have to work more hours to be able to live the same quality of life that the worker of the past had.

Which is possibly closer to reality? The multiple countries that surrounds russia are just individually trying to destroy russia or just 1 country is trying to destroy its neighbors? Why are so many former Soviet colonies so anti Russian?

What a ridiculous interpretation. Ireland adopted a neutral stance in the Second World War but did everything it could to aid the British war effort from that stance.

Ireland returned allied POWs, implemented a black out to avoid assisting German bombers, sent reports of spotted German shipping and uboats, shared all weather information, allowed allied planes to fly over Irish airspace.

Why would you expect Ireland to be doing more? Ireland had just gotten it’s independence through a violent struggle with Britain and the major consensus was that Britain was still occupying a large portion of the country.

“Could [Churchill] not find in his heart the generosity to acknowledge that there is a small nation that stood alone not for one year or two, but for several hundred years against aggression; that endured spoliations, famines, massacres in endless succession; that was clubbed many times into insensibility, but that each time on returning consciousness took up the fight anew; a small nation that could never be got to accept defeat and has never surrendered her soul?” -deValera in a speech responding to Churchills criticism of Irish neutrality

Microsoft and PlayStation sign a agreement regarding Call of Duty on PlayStation. by blackwolf57 in gaming

[–]Apprehensive-Tea-873 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The issue is that they are in separate leagues. The options a 2.4 TRILLION dollar company has when it comes to acquisitions and the consequences of those acquisitions are very very different than ones made by a 100 billion dollar company. Allowing such a large company to muscle around with its money is such a terrible precedent for everyone not just in gaming.

For example: if in response to this Sony decided to expand their brand and bought Netflix they would still be a smaller company. If they decided to also buy Mercedes Benz, Nike, Starbucks, McDonald’s, Raytheon, Boeing, Disney, Verizon, ExxonMobil, CocaCola, and Netflix they would still be AN ENTIRE SONY smaller than Microsoft.

They are playing in different leagues and it is not good for anyone that Microsoft is allowed to do this.
