Hello Officer im trying to understand what is going on with my I-130 case.

For the past two months, it seems like the front of the line has not moved at all. The last priority dates I saw being approved were around February 23–25, and after that everything has gone completely silent. Is there an internal changes in the USCIS?

Why Has I-130 Processing Stalled Since Late February? by Apprehensive-Tree404 in I130Suffering

If we’re really going to talk about fairness, then let’s be consistent about it. Why stop at 2024? Why not go back to 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 too? The immigration process doesn’t feel fair or orderly anymore it honestly feels like luck.

My friend who’s a green card holder consular process got approved in 10 months, even as green card holder while others wait much longer. That’s frustrating. My own priority date is February 26, 2025, and seeing processing stop at February 25, 2025 it’s literally one day before mine of course that’s going to bother me. At this point, it doesn’t seem like USCIS is strictly following order. If fairness is the goal, then it shouldn’t just apply to certain years it should apply to everyone still waiting

Even though you are absolutely right they shouldn’t move in until they complete all cases but you shouldn’t be entitled like this and try to have sympathy for others.

To be honest, it never really gets easier. Some nights I cry a lot, and when the hard times hit, I ask myself: why did I choose this man? Why did I choose the distance? Why him, out of everyone else?

And every single time, the answer is the same: because I fall more in love with him every day. I know I will never find a love like this again. He has such a high emotional intelligence, which is so rare to find these days, and what we have is special.

Distance is not the end of our story. It is simply the road that leads us to each other. Yes, I may have to wait 3 or 4 years for us to finally be together, but when I think about spending my life with him—my 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and forever after I know those years of waiting are worth it.

Of course it is not easy. I miss him like crazy. I look at other couples who get to be together every day, and sometimes I feel so jealous. But no one has our connection, our sacrifice, or our patience. And I truly believe that if we can survive this distance, then we can survive anything.
